As, the leaked photographs have already revealed the Jazz, its Japanese maker finally thought that it should announce the official launch time of the all new Jazz. Thus without waiting any longer, Honda has announced that the company will launch the 2014 Jazz or Fit in the month of September in the international car markets. So, one can expect the car to get launched in the global markets sometime in September, 2013.
The all new 2014 Honda Jazz is supposed to be a bigger and longer model as compared against the ongoing model according to its new tallboy design language. The next generation car is also supposed to arrive with a best in class with a huge 400 litre boot space and also sport slightly bigger wheelbase by 2.58m.
As for the Indian car market the all new Honda Jazz is expected to be powered by the same 1.2 liter petrol engine as well as a new 1.5 liter diesel motor that is currently powering the extremely successful Honda Amaze compact sedan.
On the other hand, in the car market of US, where the model is known as the Honda Fit will be getting powered the engine options of a 1.2 liter and a 1.4 liter petrol mills as well as a 1.6 liter i-DTEC diesel motor. In the Indian car market, the all new 2014 Honda Jazz will be pitched directly against the Hyundai i20 premium hatchback. It is also expected that after the huge success of the Amaze sedan and Honda’s growth in the Indian car market, the company might as well launch the automatic version of the all new 2014 Jazz.
The Japanese car maker at present is extremely happy with its recently gained success in the Indian car market post the launch of the new Amaze compact sedan. Honda thus, is planning for a massive expansion in India including its product portfolio for India. Honda has already announced that the company will be launching four new models to India by the year 2015. The range of new cars from Honda in the Indian car market will include a new MPV that is based on the platform of Brio, a new compact SUV based on the platform of the Jazz that is scheduled to be launched in the year 2014, the next generation City and obviously the all new 2014 Jazz.
As, the all new 2014 Honda Jazz will be first launched in the Japanese car market in the month of September this year, the Indian market is expecting to receive the new car in late 2014 or early 2015.
