Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has stated that it would fix power window switches in massive figures of 42,672 models of the popular second-gen Honda City which was built in 2007-2008. The company has also requested dealers to initiate the recall process of the second-gen City model which is also referred to as City ZX.
The company has announced that there were no issues associated with the power window switches, these switches might rot when liquid or water percolates through the side window in driver’s compartment. The entire re-fitting of power switches will be free of charge at Honda dealerships throughout the country and owners will be alerted individually. The company plans to fit all models with cases of non functional power window switches within few months, and has an admirable network with 152 facilities in ninety eight cities in India.
