Honda Motor India has raised the price of the highly popular CR-V and the recently launched Amaze. The price of the trendy Amaze is increases with a maximum limit of Rs 8000 and the rates of CR-V have increased with a maximum increment of Rs 14000 based on the variant. The main reason for the increase in rates of both models is the weakening of rupee value and increasing input values.
Top company officials have stated that the increase in rates of Brio by Rs 2,000 to 10,000, Accord by Rs 5000 and City by Rs 3000 last month. The pricings of CR-V and Amaze have come into effect this month, and not keen to follow up on price increase anytime in the near future.
The increase in price of some of its quality model might be a profitable move to maintain profit levels. The Brio, City and Accord are exceedingly popular models of Honda since launch. The newly launched Amaze is the company’s first venture into the diesel segment in India. The most exciting and beneficial aspect of the diesel model of Amaze is it is known to possess highest fuel efficiency in its class at 25.8 kmpl.
