Honda has launched the much anticipated sedan, Crider in the Chinese market. The Japanese car major is very anxious to impress the Chinese car consumers and is thus producing cars that are especially meant for the Chinese car market.
The Chinese car market is considered as the largest market in the world, and the Japanese car makers are now paying special attention to this market. Owing to a territorial conflict of the two nations of China and Japan over some small islands, the Chinese consumers had banned the purchase of Japanese cars. The Japanese car makers were hit pretty badly by this situation, however as the condition improves the Japanese car makers are rivaling each other in order to present better cars to impress the Chinese audience.
Honda had showcased two primary cars for the Chinese car market at the 2013 Beijing Auto Show, namely the Crider and the Jade based on the company’s two concepts the C concept and the S concept respectively. Design wise the Honda Crider is designed according to the taste and preference of the Chinese car consumers. The luxury sedan has a stylish and contemporary exterior and a comfortable interior laden with world-class features to match its exterior. Though the interior is fully loaded with latest features, the overall design seems to be quite drab that is similar to Honda Civic’s latest generation model. However, the creature comfort makes up for the dull appearance, as it comes fitted with superior features such as pushbutton engine ignition, an advanced infotainment system with a bid 7 inch screen and climate control among many others. The car is thought to be a big success in the Chinese market and increase the sales rates for Honda, as the company is very eager to pump up its sales figures in the market.
