The Hero Honda Splendor is a much popular and hot-selling bike manufactured by Hero Honda in India. The Splendor is engineered with tubular double cradle kind frame and electronic ignition and is powered by a 97.2 cc Powertrain. As of the year 2009, Splendor models were clocking sales to the tune of 1 million each year.
In the year 2004, Hero Honda brought the updated version of the Splendor, called as Splendor +. This updated version featured tail light, multi-reflector headlight, improved graphics and turn signal lights. To promote the sales of the already popular Splendor bike, Hero MotoCorp announces exciting finance schemes, especially during the festive season to attract potential buyers as well as existing buyers to upgrade to the new Splendor bike. In the previous year, Hero MotoCorp had partnered with HDFC Bank and offered finance at 6.99 percent across the entire range of two-wheeler products. Honda has also stated that it sold nearly 1.5 lakh bikes during the auspicious nine days of Navratri festival and it aimed to cross a target of retailing half a million bikes during the festive month.
As per past couple of years’ industry estimates, the interest rate offered on a two-wheeler financing options are nearly 10 percent. Hero MotoCorp introduces several finance schemes for the Splendor bike as well as other two wheelers during the festive season, which sees soaring sales of its entire range of products.
Before the split, Hero Honda launched the Splendor Pro, featuring aggressive looks while the bike’s appearance features styling dynamics similar to the Splendor’s previous versions. The upgraded Splendor Pro is quite stylish and bold for a bike belonging to this segment. The body graphics are sleek and lend a stunning appeal to the motorcycle’s design while the rear and the front of the bike also look equally muscular, resembling a sports bike. The front cowl of the bike features stylish graphics, accentuating the sporty appeal of the two-wheeler.
Apart from the stunning looks, the Splendor Pro is also quite economical to ride, a critical decisive factor for buyers in the Indian continent. The fuel tank capacity of Splendor Pro is 11 liters and it has one litre capacity for fuel reserve.
Not long ago, the Hero Splendor Pro Gold Special Edition was also launched. The Special Edition Splendor Pro is draped in dazzling gold shade and is priced at Rs. 48,500 (ex-showroom Delhi price). The Special Edition Splendor Pro also features ‘Special Edition’ decals to distinguish it from the standard version.
