India’s esteemed car manufacturer Honda Cars India Limited has noted some decent fortunes in its sale department for the 2013 October period. The company has noted a 39% sale increase. The trust value with its domestic buyers has increased, and in this segment Honda India has recorded a sale hike of 38.7%, with the release of 11,214 pieces.
During the same period in 2012, the company has sold around 8,085 pieces of its models. Customers have zeroed in on some of Honda’s posh and exotic cars, the Brio is among the highly appreciated models and around 1,472 volumes of the car were sold. The Accord and City had 60 and 31 buyers.
The main profit player for the company was the Amaze sedan, and the customer turnover for this car was supreme, and it is just a few units away from the milestone 10,000 unit mark, and around 9,564 pieces of the car was taken away by customers in just one month. The CR-V, a premium SUV registered around 87 buyers. Honda encountered some good fortunes in the export segment with 365 pieces in October this year.
On the admirable sale profits recorded in October month, Jnaneswar Sen, the senior Vice President in the sale and marketing division of Honda Cars India, stated, ‘’ we are grateful to our buyers for purchasing the Amaze in bulk volumes and making this the top selling model with around 9,564 pieces and such impressive figures are noted during the happy and colorful Diwali festival.’’
The demand levels for Honda cars have become sky rocketing, to an extent that the company is unable to keep up with the overflowing booking volumes. Now to keep up with the spring like demand gush the company plans to build its third production unit in Greater Noida.
The Amaze has worked wonders for Honda, the car was unveiled in April this year, and it is all rounder in terms of appearance, interior comfort and mileage. The car sports a trendy youthful design and has the perfect compact sedan image with neat graphics on its side profile. The head lights are molded into neat stretched back structures. One step into the interiors and the atmosphere is nothing but plash with a corporate beige and black color theme.
