Post the announcement of excise duty rates on automobiles at the interim budget, Honda Cars India has passed on the excise duty benefits to its Indian customers by slashing down the prices of its cars across its entire model range. Honda has announced on 19th of February that the company has reduced the prices of all its cars across the company’s product portfolio ranging from Rs. 14,650 to Rs. 44,741 that have already come into effect.
Honda Cars India’s Senior VP of Marketing and Sales, Mr. Jnaneswar Sen while speaking on this government help said that this reduction in duty charges will definitely offer the very necessary boost to the consumer demands and encourage growth in the Indian auto industry. Honda India is extremely pleased to pass on the excise duty reduction benefits to the company’s esteemed customers.
The reduced pricing of the Honda Amaze compact sedan in India is expected to fuel even further high sales rates for the car.
