The Japanese car major Honda has announced about its plans to showcase the highly anticipated Civic Type R and the NSX concepts at the upcoming 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed in United Kingdom. These two highly interesting concept models have already garnered a lot of appreciation and the production versions of both these upcoming Honda vehicles will be launched in the car market of UK next year.
The Honda Civic Type R is a highly stylized and boldly designed car and exudes style and speed both in a great looking package. This car has been dubbed by the Honda design team as the ‘racing car for the road’, and is also meant to be a performance oriented car. The Civic Type R is an aggressive looking performance hatchback which shouts about its capabilities, style statement and awesome road presence with its superb bold styling that is patent with the Type R.
On the other hand, the new Honda NSX supercar is another performance oriented stylish car that is powered by a 3-motor Sport Hybrid system along with Super Handling All 4 Wheel Drive system. This car with its advanced technological prowess, strong performance and drool worthy Honda design is also all ser too grab the lime light at the event. This superb sports car is driven by the longitudinal, V6 direct injection motor with twin turbochargers.
Honda has all the intentions to hook on most of the visitors to its own booth at the upcoming auto event and thus, apart from these two superior cars is also going to organize a lot of activities to keep both the car and bike enthusiasts engaged. The Car enthusiasts will get the awesome chance to race these two fabulous upcoming cars at the event’s Honda Stall, which will support a miniature race track to accommodate the two models’ special edition remote control versions. The Japanese car major said that a live leader board as well as race footage will run on a big screen that will be put up on the stand. The conducted races will also be uploaded to YouTube, so that the participants can share their great moments with their friends and family.
For the biking lovers, Honda Motor will also arrange a unique off-road experience. This will involve of the participants grabbing the chance to choose and take from a selection of the company’s new off-road motorcycle range to an off-road venture. Prior to the actual off-road experience, the company will make the riders go through a special course where they will be taught the basics of rough riding in 20 minute sessions by experienced instructors including the 3 time World Motocross Champion, Dave Thorpe and the multiple British Motocross Champion, Stephen Sword. Prior experience or licenses are not required, so anyone can enjoy the thrill of it.
These car and bike activities will be hosted by Honda on all 4 days during the Festival, from 25th to 29th of June.
