Honda has strategized its launches effectively, the company has been making month on end profits since the launch of Amaze last year. The past year was not too fruitful for many auto firms in India, caused by weak market scenario. The markets have picked up lately and Honda still continues to grow. Although the company has managed to note month after month profit, it too faced the grave consequences of weak car market. In April, the sale output of Amaze was 3,355 units and City was the highest profit maker with the flow of 7,044 pieces.
In May the sales of Amaze and City increased, the number of Amaze models sold in the month was 4,752 units and City numbers were 7,218 units. Sales of both cars have elevated considerably. The City still continues to flow in large volume even though it is pricier than Amaze by 30%.
