Honda has recently launched its brand new MPV Mobilio in the domestic market. Fiat, on the other hand, has revealed the pictures of the upcoming 2015 Punto. We have already reported about Fiat rigorously testing the 2015 Punto so it wouldn’t be long when we will see the 2015 Fiat Punto in the showrooms. Although, Honda Mobilio and Fiat Punto, both belongs to different categories but people are desperately waiting for the upcoming Punto as they were waiting for the Mobilio. So, we thought we’d do a quick comparison between the both on terms of their looks.
Honda Mobilio is a MPV and so it has to be big. As we know that it is based on the platform of the Honda Brio and Honda Amaze, therefore, some features have carried over to the Mobilio. The front face of the Mobilio is inspired from the Amaze and it looks quite similar to that it. The single wide horizontal chrome strip on the front grille has been borrowed from the new Honda City. The revised front bumper and the new fog lamps enhances the road presence of the Mobilio. The side profile of Honda Mobilio gives a slender hint of Toyota Innova but it is not something to be bothered about. The creases which travels along the length of the MPV fills the empty space on the side. The new set of alloy wheels also increases the appearance of the Mobilio. The rear end has got a completely new design. The highly raised and big tail lamps looks gracious and they are placed such that half of them are on the trunk gate and half of them are on the body. The spoiler has been provided in order to give a sporty look to the new MPV. Overall, Honda has done an awesome job and the Mobilio looks exactly as a MPV should look.
On the other hand, 2015 Fiat Punto is a hot hatchback which has been revised while focussing more on the fun factor. The new Punto has got some newly designed headlamps which have a slight curve to them and they have been smoothed out more maturely than the outgoing model. Fiat has also completely changed the front grille. It is now more European and sports chrome bordering and a single horizontal chrome line in the middle. Also, the front bumper has been refreshed and has new slots for the fog lamps which too have a nice touch of chrome on its surrounding. The chrome work follows at the rear bumper too and it really looks very cool. A new set of tail lamps can be seen on the new 2015 Fiat Punto and they are a big upgrade. In fact, they provide the fun factor to the car. The little spoiler protruding out of the roof makes the Punto look sportier.
Honda and Fiat both have done a fair job with their new launches. While Fiat is still testing its new Punto, Honda has already launched the Mobilio and has opened the bookings for it.
