Honda makes worthy 39.97% profits in July

Honda Cars India made impressive 39.97% gains in domestic market with the sale of 15,709 units in 2014 July. The sale output is significantly higher than 11,233 pieces sold in the corresponding period as confirmed by Honda Cars India Limited. Majority of profits came from new Honda City, a mid-sized car with the flow of 7,705 pieces. The next highest profit contributor is Amaze with 4,507 units, next in line is 3,265 units of Mobilio and last in line is Brio with movement of 74 units. There were a fare number of takers for CRV with 58 buyers.

Honda made worthy export profits with the sale of 858 units, on the commendable profits, a top company executive made a statement saying, ‘’ the response for recently launched Mobilio has been good, and the bookings figures have crossed 10,000 mark and we are confident about achieving higher customer turnover who yearn for value for money products.’’

Honda has engaged in efficient planning since the onset of harsh recession, it achieved significant acclaim with one model wonders. The company has been on a profit roll since the launch of Amaze in 2013 April. Honda took a risk that paid off; Amaze was its first diesel project equipped with the advanced Earth Dreams technology with 1.5 liter capacity. The aftermath effect is world class 25.8 kmpl mileage. The car has the desired comfort and safety features for a smooth ride encounter.

Fueled by the success of Amaze, Honda then launched mid size City sedan also packed with Earth Dreams 1.5 liter diesel engine technology. The fiery mill generates 26kmpl. Honda has layered the car with a new fashion statement called ‘Exciting H design technology’. All the desirable attributes stuffed into the car has made it the top seller in July.

The Mobilio MPV was the talk of the town, it is Honda’s first project in MPV segment and it is nothing but a wonder. The exteriors sparkle to the core and the inner décor is stunningly vibrant filled with layers of beige. Honda has inserted a 1.5 liter iDTEC engine that pumps out an efficient 24kmpl mileage, which is par excellence for a MPV. The demand for the car is enormous; the booking capacity has crossed milestone limits in a short span of time. It is a task to record over 10,000 bookings in few days.

The outcome of Honda’s strategic planning has enabled it to yield fruitful profits, and it never showed signs of struggle when the market was at its peak constrain phase. The future appears bright on the back of demand for Mobilio; if the booking output is 10,000 imagine the impact in the months to come. It might overpower even the new City.

There are interesting new Honda cars to look forward to such as Vezel and new Jazz. Sources say the company might re-invent the lost shine of Civic at a more valuable rate. Vezel and Jazz are stunning cars to consider, it will be interesting to view the profit outcome of Honda on the back of new launches.
