Honda Cars India a couple of years ago introduced a hit model called Amaze, a sedan variant of Brio. The new VX (O) variants will be slotted about the current VX car and both will have diesel and petrol fuels linked to manual transmission gearbox. On the introduction of the new upgrades, the senior vice president of the sales and marketing department of Honda Cars India Limited said, ‘’we have launched the new VX (O) Brio and Amaze models, installed with audio video navigation, and the reason behind it is, customers have requested for it through feedback. In the near future, our plan is to introduce a new CNG Amaze car.’’
As mentioned earlier, Amaze has been a blockbuster hit since its arrival in 2013 April, it is the company’s first diesel engine project for Indian markets. The engine efficiency is among the prime profit yielding factors of the car. The revolutionary 1.5 litre diesel mill churns world class 25.8kmpl mileage and the potent 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol car yields a fuel-efficiency figure of 18kmpl.
