The 2015 Honda Jazz has finally arrived in the Indian markets. The last generation Jazz pulled out being highly competent but slightly over priced and slow selling. Honda Jazz hasn’t had a contender in the premium end of hatchback segment. The new model has been built on all together a new platform but however remains identifiable as a jazz because of its mono-volume shape. The basic design of the car remains unchanged however the other features and interiors of the car has got a lot to offer you.
Talking about the features of the new Honda jazz, the angular headlights look very attractive. Moreover, the strong belt line that originates at the front doors widens towards the large 3D effect tail lights. For more than other things, people are going to appreciate the Jazz’s design for practical reasons. The door designs and the sheer space in the cabin area will leave you completely mesmerised. The Honda jazz is well known for offering a good space with ample head, leg and shoulder room for four to five occupants.
The official date for Honda Jazz’s launch is 8th July. The auto maker initially released teasers of the car on social networking sites and social websites. The initial month for the release was decided to be March but however the launch got postponed.
The new generation will come in two types of engine options- 1.2 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel. The petrol version will be getting a CVT automatic option. The car is likely to compete the Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20, Tata Bolt, and Volkswagen Polo Fiat Punto Evo.
Known for having brilliant packing and spacious cabin, the jazz is expected to maintain being the best seller for Honda. Also, since it is assembled here with the engines manufactured here, Honda will have the liberty to price the jazz competitively.
Talking about other changes, this time interestingly jazz models will have ‘magic seats’ at the back. These seats would get split, folded flat and flip upwards for making space for all kinds of shapes and sizes of cargo. These seats will also allow you to form a recliner for which you will have to push the front seats backrests fully. The people who’ll spend most of their time in the back will enjoy the backrest angle adjustability. However, the only drawback would be for the middle seat which wouldn’t be very comfortable.
The Jazz’s driving environment would be very similar to that of the City’s. With the new changes and upgraded version, you’ll not find yourself short changed this time. Unlike the old Jazz, the new one has been designed carefully loaded with features. The special touch operated panel for climate control system available In the City has found its way here also. In addition, there are steering buttons for telephone and audio functions.
The auto maker has geared up for their marketing and launch and have started accepting bookings for the new 2015 Honda Jazz. The second half of the year would be the deciding factor for the new Honda jazz and its acceptability.
