Honda has some interesting range of new launches for next year; the Honda Mobilio is one of them. Those who have observed the 360 degree video of the car posted on the web would have been stunned with its magnificent exterior appeal and luxuriously roomy interiors. The car is built for robust Asian markets, and was showcased on the 19th of September during the prestigious Indonesia International Motor Show for 2013. The Indonesian population was blown away by the majestic style statement of Mobilio. The evidence to support this is months before launch, the company has received around 4,500 bookings.

Lucky ones in Indonesia can await the car in 2014 February, and the production procedures will commence in Jan next year. The production will take place at the prestigious new (HPM) Honda Prospect Motor factory in the city of Karawang.

The Indonesian spec Mobilio will be equipped with a potent 1.5 liter iVTEC mill that churns impressive engine outputs of 144Nm torque and 118PS power. There will be two transmissions which is a five speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox. The car will be released in three variants such as ECVT, E and S.

The car in Indonesia will be priced at 150 to 180 million Rupiah, and in Indian currency it is Rs 8.4-10.9 lakhs. The launch of Mobilio MPV in Indian markets will intensify the cut-throat competition that prevails in this segment. Its main arch rival will be Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

The Indian spec Mobilio will be fitted with a powerful 1.5 liter Earth Dreams diesel mill observed in Amaze. The reason for Honda to incorporate this engine in the Mobilio MPV is to improve the mileage and eco-friendly properties. One of the supreme engineering technologies used here is Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control System (VTEC). There is the (VTC) Variable Timing Control which minimizes friction. Those who desire a speedy and gigantic car, the Mobilio MPV will be ideal, the car will have superior mileage figures compared to Ertiga and Avanza.

The Mobilio MPV is splashed with a unique style statement, the front is garnished with huge head lamps molded into a creative elongated sculpt and is known to be identical to Brio. The chrome decorated grill adds to its classy and sophisticated demeanor. The rear is garnished with imaginative creases, which heighten its sporty appeal.

The insides of Mobilio MPV are luxuriously spacious to seat many occupants, with ample boot volume to enjoy a life remembering family vacation. The car is reliable in terms of safety with EBD and ABS brakes.

It comes as no surprise that the car is already on demand few months before its launch in Indonesia. Honda has introduced something new and exciting which appears grander than even its CR-V model. The car has all the attributes to satisfy the needs of large families in Indonesia and India with its power packed engine, interior comfort, and exterior style.

Honda fans in India can rejoice with the Mobilio MPV next year for its magnificence in technology and design, the car is priced at Rs 7 lakhs.

Honda is geared to unveil some amazing products; one of the new launches which will stun the public is the Mobilio MPV. This is a classic MPV designed using Brio design theme base. Those who are fascinated with the appeal of the car has keen to know more interior facts, there is a video posted on the web showcased at Indian Institutes of Management 2013.

The video is designed by an ardent car enthusiast Salim Wibowo, and is executed using mind blowing skills and techniques. The film showcases the Mobilio MPV in a professional and jazzy brown shade doing a 360 degree turn. The entire turn is shot in slow motion, with doors and windows open. The interiors are revealed, and appear plush with a vibrant combination of beige and white splashed on the cushions and interior décor. The wait is over for Honda car enthusiasts who now finally have the chance to dig into the nuances of the car, the company earlier had no video source for the audience.

As mentioned earlier the Mobilio MPV is carved using the Brio platform, those who have observed the car from front, might have spotted Brio or Amaze elements. The car does appear sophisticated and grand, and is developed by the company’s brilliant team of engineers in Thailand and Indonesia. An important point to note here is the MPV is offered at consumer desired prices to push the enormous comfort levels experienced in these models in accordance with strong demand in India and other Asian countries.

The overall dimension is the most fascinating element with the car; this is one attribute which is startling to the eyes. Yes it is the measurements are pretty impressive with a wheelbase length of 2650mm, and length of 4390mm. Lucky ones in Indonesia will be the first to catch the worm.

The magnificent measurement complements the engine capacity, the Mobilio MPV will run with powerful 1.5 litre petrol fuelled engine with option of automatic and manual gearboxes. The 1.5 liter engine will be built with iVTEC technology that operates on Honda City. This engine will churn shockingly remarkable engine outputs of 144Nm highest torque and 118Ps peak power. The diesel version will have the powerful 1.5 litre diesel mill that runs the Amaze.

The video is called walk around, the phrase suits the film to perfection, and viewers can actually have a glimpse of the interiors and exteriors. The interiors appear luxuriously spacious, and exteriors are sculpted with artistically designed head lights, molded into an iconic eye brow shape. The body graphics are simple which adds to its supremely neat and professional stature. There is sufficient volume at the back as well, to throw in weighty luggage.

Indian’s, who admire the Mobilio MPV to the hilt, can view every inch of the car at the prestigious auto expo scheduled for next year in the industrial city of Noida. For ardent Honda fans, this is definitely a thrilling launch, for its fabulous exteriors, splendidly posh interiors, and superb engine capacity. The launch of the car will create a sense of worry for other established auto firms; some of its strong contenders are Chevrolet Enjoy, Nissan Evalia and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

There is some amazing news for ardent Honda car fans; the Indian subsidiary of the parent Japanese firm has noted a sale increase of 88% for the September month this year. Honda has sold whooping cars figures of 10,354 pieces in September. The increase is massive indeed compared to 5,508 pieces released last year same period as stated by Honda Cars India Limited. The City and Brio have churned enormous profits with 2,043 and 1,452 pieces. The posh Accord witnessed 46 buyers. The Amaze has generated highest profits at 6,679 pieces. There were few takers for CR-V as well with 134 pieces. Honda has managed to generate decent export figures at 701 pieces in September this year.

On the grand increase, Jnaneswar Sen, the Vice President in Sales and Marketing division of Honda Cars India Limited announced, ‘’the company has witnessed significant number of buyers, in spite of the unfavorable market conditions, particularly in the passenger car segment over the last 8 months. Our team is happy with the sale output figures of Brio and Amaze. These admirable numbers will certainly boost the sale atmosphere during the festive period.’’

Honda cars are recognized for its enormous luxury and style, the Amaze follows an exceptional style statement and has contributed highest sales to the company. Since launch the car has churned breakthrough profits, Honda has formulated an effective strategy with the Amaze. The car is a sedan version of Brio and is the first ever diesel engine built by Honda. This is one attribute that has created a sense of curiosity among customers; this has led to power packer performances. The mileage noted with Honda diesel is known to be the best-in-its class at 25.8kmpl.

If the exteriors and interiors of the car are not exciting enough, the car is polished with interesting and professional colors like majestic blue metallic, crystal black pearl, urban titanium metallic, carnelian red pearl, alabaster silver metallic and taffeta white.

The boot volume is another attention grabbing feature at 400 liters; this is more than sufficient to thrown weighty luggage and head for a splendid vacation. The Amaze is a game changer for Honda, since this car was unveiled under drastic macro economic circumstances where the demand was on a lower scale.

The City and Brio have been key profit players for the company; the City sports a classic design and released impressive mileage figures of 14kmpl. The Brio is a uniquely trendy hatch that has satisfied millions of consumers with its potent engine capacity and features.

Honda has recorded outstanding sale figures for the September month, this is a commendable moment for the company, taking into account the depreciation of Indian rupee and high fuel costs. The company has strategized a practical business plan. It is remarkable to achieve 88% sale increase when recession has hit the country harder than before.

The festive period is just a few weeks away, and Honda cars can be the best gift during this season. The mileage figures of Honda cars make this ideal for families to go on a fun filled outing to a movie or restaurant.

The Exclusive Brio model will also have additional features including door visors, chrome finished exhaust pipe, rear parking sensor as well as illuminated side-step decorations. Honda India is currently reveling in its new found glory after the launch of the Brio based Amaze compact sedan, which is also the company’s first diesel offering in India. After the Amaze, the Brio is the most selling car from HCIL.

Honda Motors made an announcement today that they will keep on with their 2500 crore investment strategy which they have previously announced. Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, the SVP of Honda Cars India Limited stated that no changes have been levied in the investment scheme of the company. He further stated that the company made a 2500 crore investment in the month of April and it is going to commence according to its schedule.

At present, Honda is making an investment in three lines – the first is for the new coupe assembly line, the second investment is diesel motor facility and third investment is the development of building plant at its production unit in the Tapukara region of Rajasthan.

The diesel motor facility of the company is all-set to start while the other two investment scheme will come into action by the end of 2014. Sen also spoke on the sidelines of the yearly agreement of the SIAM.

When questioned about the reaction of the company on the price hike due to the depreciated value of rupee, and that will the fall in the rupee value affect the coupe’s price, Mr. Sen stated that Honda is still monitoring the condition and hasn’t yet decided about this.

The launches from the company like Amaze and Brio have around 90% of the localisation and the Honda City Sedan is manufactured with 70% of the Indian localisation. Thus, the depreciated value of rupee will cause no major impact on the production of the cars and hence, the company won’t enter into the league of the brands that have increased their car prices due to this reason.

The company also has aims to increase its exports in the fiscal year 2013. In the last monetary year, it made an export of around 2500 cars and spare parts of around INR 250 crore. However, in the financial year 2013, the company has strategized to make an export of 6000 coupes and spare parts of around INR 600 crore. The Indian Subsidiary of the Japanese venture, Honda aims to sell its coupes to neighbouring nations as well as South Africa.

The sudden increase in the exports of the company is due to the fall in the depreciated value of rupee. Every company wishes to grab more and more profits through exports during the crisis phase. This will surely boost the sales of Honda also. Even though the automotive industry wasn’t working very well, yet Honda made its profit in the previous month.

With an investment of 2500 crore, the company will surely make a perfect base for its other segment of cars. It will give the company a perfect and sturdy platform to release diesel coupes, new fuel efficient coupes and an all-new manufacturing facility. We will keep you updated about the progress in all the three investing lines of the company. The company hasn’t shifted an inch and is continuously working to start the project as per the declared time.

The Japanese Automotive Company, Honda Motor Co. Ltd has recently revealed its intentions of constructing a mega solar plant and a test course on the property owned by the company in Sakura Japan. Honda originally planned to construct a massive-scale test course back in the year 2007, which would include a high-speed long track circuit that will run up to a distance of 4km. However, the company had to postpone these plans in the wake of economic recession that the world faced in the year 2008.

But lately, the positive changes in the automobile industry, the improved business environment and increased market demand led Honda to modify its plans. Honda came up with a revised purpose and increased scale for its test-course plan. The company now plans to construct a brand-new test course that spreads across a large area of 25 hectares. The area will also be used to develop state-of-the-art safety technologies.

In addition to the test course, the company is also planning to invest in the construction of a solar power plant which will generate 10 MW of power annually in Sakura. The company has plans of setting up about 70 thousand solar panels spread across a piece of land of 33 hectares. The power generated from the solar plant will be put on sale from the year 2015.

In an effort to protect the natural ecology of the surrounding, Honda is devising to construct a biotope within the same property in Sakura. Honda will be welcoming the local residents to the biotope to let them enjoy it peacefully.

The company has been effectively and proactively involved in the development of the advanced and latest safety technologies. The environmental issues hold the top priority for Honda, especially the energy issues and climate change. Therefore, the company is putting as much effort as it can, to reduce its carbon footprint through effective promotion of the use of non-conventional energy.

Honda has been a forerunner in the automobile industry globally as well as the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world. The company seeks to provide the best to its customers.

Honda has always been very keen and proactive on the environmental issues. The company has been spending substantially in the green fuel technologies and hydrogen storage technologies for a long time now. In a recent announcement from Honda, the company reveals that it is planning to develop fuel cell technology to be utilized in the vehicles. The development process is conducted in collaboration with the General Motors. javascript:void(0)

The company revealed their plans to aim the fuel cell storage development within the time frame of 2020. Jointly, the two companies aim to reduce the car costs along with improvement in the fueling structure of the cars.

Honda ranks second to GM in the Clean Energy Patent Growth Index, on the basis of the number of fuel cell patents that have been filed by it between the period of year 2002 to 2012. Honda has more than 1200 patents filed during the period.

The US-based Motorsport division of Honda, HPD (Honda Performance Development), is right now under the process of developing a brand-new engine. The direct-injection, 2.2 litres V6 Turbocharged engine is designed under the premium category LMP1 of the racing cars in the upcoming FIA Sponsored World Endurance Championship. This championship also includes the most popular race ‘24 hours of Le Mans’.

The new engine is named as the HR22T and is based on an engineering which has been employed in the 500-winning Indianapolis IndyCar series from IZOD, the prime open-wheel racing league in the United States, since 2012. The HR22T is being built in order to be coupled with the latest ERS or energy recovery system which is developed in collaboration with the technical partner of HPD, Magneti Marelli.

This time in the year 2014, the WEC is coming with a set of completely revamped rules. This provided HPD with an opportunity to propose a refreshed Powertrain system for the private teams which are involved in the high-end sports racing endurance championships. This decision has been taken in order to comply with new regulations of the ACO’s (Automobile Club de l’Ouest). Starting with the next year onwards, according to the modified rules, the highest flow rate will be specified by the technical regulations of the LMP1 category. This flow rate can be combined with ERS and alternately, can be opted alone.

The Vice President and the COO of HPD, Steve Eriksen said that according to the latest rules, the private teams can choose to drive without any energy recovery systems in their vehicles or add an energy recovery system for a particular level of energy as per their requirement. Therefore, now the drivers are given an option to choose the best ERS solution for themselves according to their specific needs. They can choose anything between the range of no recovery of energy to a maximum of 8 Megajoules of energy recovery.

Eriksen further elaborated that the V6 Turbo charged engine caters the technical sophistication to the private teams which is necessary for them to contest in the race under the new regulations of LMP1.

The Honda Performance Development Company also substantiated that the company is working on the development of the coupe version of the Honda ARX Chassis in collaboration with Wirth Research, the technical partners of the HPD. The Coupe is being specifically designed to be fitted with their new V6 Turbocharged engine as well as the ERS.

Honda has been very successful at the racing championships under the LMP2 category and has bagged in a number of titles. These include a number of titles from the American Le Mans races and two wins at the renowned ’24 hours of Le Mans’ races with the assistance of the HR28TT direct-injection twin-turbocharged engine.

HPD is the racing division of Honda headquartered in Santa Clara (California), with its operations in the North America. It serves as the technical and engineering center for the high-end racing cars as well as engines from Honda. The company will be celebrating the completion of its 20 successful years in 2013.

In view of the best sales in the US automobile sector since 2007, the major automotive companies have revealed their plans to invest another 434 million USD for capacity enhancement of engine and vehicle manufacturing. Following the suit, Ford’s Vice President – the North American Manufacturing division, Jim Tetreult recently said in a statement that they are looking out for ways to roll out more cars out of their manufacturing facilities throughout the North America. He added that if the demand stays as high as it is now, they will continue to focus on the sole task of boosting numbers.

The Japanese automaker, Honda Motor Company also announced an investment of 215 million USD in its Ohio manufacturing facilities. This figure includes the investment planned for the company’s engine plant which amounts to 180 million USD. The Chrysler Group LLC gave a statement that confirms the company’s move of adding capacity to its engine plant in Michigan along with an addition of 300 persons to its workforce.

It is to be noted that the sales of cars and light trucks in the US market experienced a 14% hike in the month of July, reaching up to 1.32 million. These figures were made public by the Autodata Corp. After adjusting the annual sales rate of the industry for the seasonal trends, the sales figures still look improved at 15.8 million compared to the 14.2 million sales number of the last year. Thus, with the July sales results, the US automobile industry seems to be right on track to make 2013 to be the best since the highest sales of 16.1 million in the year 2007.

He also told that Ford has been already facing some problems with the low inventory of the sedan Ford Fusion and thus, the company will soon be adding extended capacity for some of its offerings in the US. On being asked if the company would need added capacity for its models – Fusion and Escape, Joe replied in positive.

Recently, the latest sedan from Ford, the Fusion has been running with low inventory issues owing to the ever-growing popularity of the vehicle. This had led the auto giant to add an additional shift for about 1200 workers at its Flat Rock Assembly plant located in Michigan. The plant would be building the Ford Fusions for this quarter.

Probed further, Joe told that they might even add a third shift at the plant. This he says is in response to the demand forecasts from the marketing and sales team of the company.

On another occasion, the Italy based Chrysler Group also revealed their intentions of investing close to 52 million USD in the engine facilities of the company located in Dundee and Trenton city in Michigan. This is being done in order to enhance the company’s production capacity for producing more Tigershark engines. With this, the auto company plans to add 298 persons to its workforce at its Trenton engine plant.

Independently, General Motors (GM) has announced an increase of 40 million USD in the previously announced investment in the mid-size vehicle segment. Furthermore, GM has also announced another 127 million investment to another mid-size vehicle segment program. Thus, the company hiked the total investment by a good 167 million USD. The whole plan will result in the creation of 1800 jobs by the company. With this, the complete expenditure of GM on its Tennessee plant will amount up to 350 million USD.

Honda Motor feels responsible towards road safety and increased driving responsibility in order to reduce road accident that lead to the death of several car passengers as well as pedestrians. Thus, the Japanese luxury car major is said to be busy working on an impressive technology that will link the Honda cars with the other cars on the road as well as the pedestrians who are about to approach crosswalks, thus helping effectively to avoid road accidents.

In a recent announcement, the Japanese automobile giant, Honda Motor Co. revealed its plan to construct a new auto assembly plant in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The company is eyeing on building a plant with a huge capacity of rolling out 120,000 units per year. The newly planned Sao Paulo assembly plant of Honda is going to be a facility worth 430 million USD or 1.26 Billion RM and will be placed in Itirapina, a city at a distance of 200 km from Sao Paulo. With this, the company’s annual capacity out of the Brazil manufacturing facilities would be doubled. The plant is expected to be operational from the year after next in 2015.

According to the company’s spokesperson, the Itirapina plant of the Honda will be producing compact vehicles of the company including the Fit, those ones that have a huge demand in the international market. The new assembly plant will employ close to 2000 workmen.

The President of the Brazilian subsidiary of Honda, Masahiro Takedagawa commented that Brazil is a crucial market platform for Honda, being the fourth largest automotive market in the world.

Presently, Honda employs close to 3500 people in Brazil, where it made its entry back in the year 1997. The new plant is another effort from the Japanese auto manufacturer to reach its overall international sales target by the end of FY 2016, in March 2017, which the company has set as 6 million units. The last year global sales figure of the Honda was registered at 4.01 million.

The company is aiming at its fuel efficient models to meet the target figures. While, at the same time, it is undergoing an intensive capacity expansion operation in Asia, to meet the ever-growing demand in the Asian markets.

Honda registered a 4 % share in the Brazilian automobile market during the first of this year. A sixty percent market share is together held by three biggest auto makers in Brazil, General Motors, Volkswagen and Fiat.

The recently announced plant in Brazil is the sixth capacity expansion project from the Honda since the end of fiscal year 2011. The company is also in the process of growing its production capacity in other Asian countries like China, India, Mexico, Indonesia and Thailand.

Earlier this year, in order to deepen its hold on the Brazilian car market, Honda designed an exclusive model of its star performer compact hatchback, Honda Fit, according to the demands of the local market. Furthermore, some flexible fuel car models that use ethanol as fuel, like the compact SUV CR-V were also launched this year. As a result of these developments, Honda has registered a 24% jump in the sales of its cars, during the period of January to July 2013.

Presently, Honda has a single manufacturing plant in Brazil which is in Sumare city of Sao Paulo. This plant too has an annual capacity of 120,000 units. The plants rolls out the popular models from Honda, including the Fit, city and Civic. The units produced at the plant are also exported to neighbouring countries like Peru, Argentine and Chile.
