Cars in India seem to undergo a series of new forms and upgrades. This year Honda launched the Amaze which is a sedan version of Brio, Hyundai has unveiled a grander version of i10 called i10 Grand, and Maruti Suzuki has released a boxier and bigger version of WagonR called WagonR Stingray. There is another interesting new launch, which displays greater creativity in terms of design theme, which is a longer version of Brio called Mobilio Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV).
The Honda Mobilo MPV is one new launch that would create a startling customer response, mainly because of the fact that this is a lengthier version of Brio. The car has been launched in Indonesian markets and is remolded into a completely new layout with little resemblance to Amaze or Brio.
The exteriors sport a professional design with artistic lines and curves splashed all over the car. The head lights are carved into an artistic concave structure, the bumper accentuates the sporty nature of the car. The fog lights are sculpted into neat round small structures. On the whole the car appears classy and pristine, and is a fascination symbol for those who admire luxury cars.
In terms of engine capacity the car is powered with a 1248cc diesel power train that releases admirable power output of 96.6bhp. There is a 1.5 liter petrol engine built with the advanced iVTEC technology that releases remarkable power outputs of 116 bhp. The dimension of Mobilo MPV is one customer drawing feature which has a length of 4390mm, and is around 245mm lengthier than Amaze. The height of the car is 105mm higher than Amaze and has a ground clearance of 185mm.
Those who are already fascinated with the appeal of the car, the interiors have something exciting to offer as well, built with a classy dashboard adopted from Brio. The interiors are tailored with 3 rows to accommodate many passengers with more than sufficient space to fit in weighty luggage and make this a perfect recreation vehicle. In India the car will be exhibited for the very first time at the prestigious auto expo next year, and will launch in mid 2014.
Like India, Indonesia is filled with a range of MPV’s; Maruti Ertiga and Toyota Innova are sold on Indonesian shores. The launch of Amaze which is the sedan version of Brio has created an overwhelming public response and contributed enormous profits to Honda. This is one car that has worked well for the company even during the current unfavorable market conditions. Honda has used a similar formula with the introduction of Mobilo MPV which is a MPV version of Brio. One question that will emerge is whether the car will generate remarkable profits to the level of Amaze since the car is also designed using Brio platform in a bigger format. This might be another game changer for the company during the present adverse market conditions or if the market scenario might be more favorable next year.
Some interesting facts about Mobilo MPV are its exclusively stylish and sophisticated exteriors, exemplary engine efficiency, and marvelous interior volume. For its mind blowing design and features the car is priced at Rs 7 lakhs.
