The new version of City is powered by 1.5L, 4 cylinder i-VTEC engine which gives car the displacement of 1497cc and can churns out a power of 118Ps at 6600 rpm and maximum torque of 146Nm at 4800 rpm. It has five gears manual transmission system. Tata Manza on the other hand is available in both petrol and diesel version. Petrol version is powered by MPFI engine which makes it more fuel efficient and provide stability at high speed. It provides displacement of 1386cc and can offer maximum power of 90Ps at 6000 rpm and maximum torque of 116Nm at 4750 rpm. It has 5+1 speed manual transmission gearbox.
Honda City has McPherson Strut Stabilizer, coil spring suspension in Front and H-type Torsion Beam suspension in rear which gives it extra comfort on Bumpy road. It has servo assisted Hydraulic Brake type making it a safe ride. Its turning radius is 4.9 meters which makes it handy. Tata Manza has Lower Wishbone; McPherson Strut in front and Twist beam and hydraulic Shock absorbers in rear. It has Ventilated Disk in front and drum in rear.
Honda city starts at Price, Rs. 7.41 lakh while Manza starts at Rs. 5.84 lakh. Looking at specifications, Manza is providing almost same sedan feeling as city with better mileage in lower price so it is probable that Manza will soon become popular among Indian crowd.
