Honda City is a great looking car and has all the sharp corners and also the smooth curves which can impress anyone. The whole exterior design of the sedan looks like a shooting arrow. The front of the sedan has a sharp looking headlamps and a premium chrome radiator grille, with the Honda badge at the front. The lower front bumper has the fog lamps in them which looks good in the front and also provides good visibility in rough weather conditions. The side view of the car has body coloured door handles and rear view mirrors. The car has a ground clearance of about 165mm which is good for a sedan of this class. The rear view of the sedan has sporty tail lamps the reflectors are placed below the bumpers. The higher variant also has a sun roof at the top of the sedan.

Skoda Rapid has some common features like the Skoda Fabia hatchback. The front has stretched headlamps at the front and has a radiator Grille at the front with the Skoda logo in front. The lower bumper has the fog lamps in them which make the front look attractive. The centre grille has a chrome strip that runs across the front of the Skoda Rapid. The side view of the car has a body coloured door handles and body coloured door mirrors, it also has body coloured roof antenna at the roof of the car. The rear of the car now has refreshed tail lamps. The rear windscreen also gets a defogger with timer.

Honda City is powered by a 1.5 litre 1497 cc petrol engine that generates 116.38bhp of power @ 6600rpm and 146Nm torque @ 4800rpm. It is available in both manual and automatic gearbox. Skoda Rapid is powered by a 1.6L diesel and a 1.6L petrol engine. The diesel motor is able to generate 105 Ps of power at 4400 rpm and 250 Nm of maximum torque at 1500-2500 rpm. The petrol engine generates 105 Ps of maximum power at 5250 rpm and 153Nm of maximum torque at 3800 rpm.
Safety ensured
Honda City has dual front SRS air-bags and also ABS (Antilock Brake System) and EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution) in the car. Skoda Rapid has driver and passenger airbags, ABS and Brake Assists in the sedan.
Conclusion
Both the sedans are stylish luxuries and provide all sorts of comfort including comfortable seats and a powerful AC and also a decent music system. The Honda city is technologically more advanced as compared to Skoda Rapid. The Honda City, however stays ahead of the Skoda Rapid.
