Honda has just launched the automatic version of its hatchback Brio, with the motive for boosting the appeal of its rear door, Brio. This new variant has been named EX MT. The name itself suggests that it is a new manual and a mid-level version of Brio. This version has closed the price gap between the no frills E MT and the S MT.
Great car in hatchback segment
The new version of Brio, the EX MT has features like a single DIN audio system with AM/FM, MP3, front speakers, USB with AUX-in, body-coloured outer door handles and outside rear view mirrors. These features are not present in the basic E MT version. This new version is designed to make the ownership of the Brio affordable. The EX MT does not have the features like that of steering-mounted audio controls, integrated audio, rear power windows and keyless entry. These features costs Rs. 29,000 more than the actual price and are present in the high end variants of the Brio for example S MT.
Affordable yet best
The car in spite of the above features retains all the basic kits that are needed and also has the typical Honda rev-happy engine in it. This EX MT has been quoted with a price tag of Rs 4, 26, 000 (ex-Showroom Delhi). It is a nice value and it is only Rs 20, 000 more expensive than the EMT. This variant will undoubtedly increase the sales of Honda Brio along with the sale of the new automatic at the top end.
