These small cars segment is the most considered subdivision of car among the folks due to fuel efficiency, low emission, shrinking parking spaces, ease of driving and practicality. Various small cars segment were being launched creating a battleground for supremacy in the sub Rs. 5 Lakh category where there is a high competition among Maruti Suzuki Ritz, Tata Indica Vista and Honda Jazz. Actually these hatchbacks in Indian Markets constitutes around two third of total sales of cars. Indica Vista is an old player here, but its refurbished version is close rival to cars like Maruti Suzuki Ritz.
