New Datsun car promises to be a fresh, less expensive compact car

As India gets great for the new Datsun car, the car enthusiasts gets to have an insight of the car at the Geneva Motor show. The new Datsun is expected to arrive the Indian terrain in early 2014, and the car is coming with some platform features of the Nissan Micra. However, the Datsun is a completely new car, with a fresh and more contemporary design. This car is also a bit more compact than the Nissan Micra but does not compromise on the spacious interior.

Shiro Nakamura, the Senior Vice President & Chief Creative Officer of Nissan Motor Co. confirmed the fact that the new Datsun car will be absolutely unique and should not be imagined as a slashed down avatar of the ongoing Nissan Micra model.

He also added that this new compact car from the Datsun stable will be less expensive. However, the company will not create anything that looks or feels cheap. The company will certainly work to give the car a high quality look.

This new Datsun car will also represent the contemporary time, and also more importantly high quality and durability. This car would be made in such a way that it will become an epitome of the new Datsun brand, added Mr Shiro.

He also pointed out that the car will rather enhance on the USPs of the brand name Datsun and thus, will not be a cut down version of an existing Nissan model. Though the car will be less expensive, it will not be a Nissan car that features fewer parts than or features than the Micra. Thus, the Datsun car will have its own special individual place in the market. This brand new car will not be a revamped model and will represent a separate brand with a simpler intrinsic design, but packed with innovative and unique features.
