Honda motor is all set to launch another stunning car in the global auto market. Honda motor has just showcased a new stunning people carrier at the current Auto Shanghai, the Honda Jade. It seems like the Japanese auto major is very much determined to launch one after another gorgeous cars to captivate the car consumers of the world.
Basically the Honda Jade was also showcased at was in its concept version and was known as the Honda Concept S. The car has now evolved in its fully produced physical form and has been christened as the Honda jade. At a first glance at the new Honda Jade gives an impression that the car belongs to the Honda R-Class. This gorgeous vehicle is low slung, contemporary styled and also appear to be very spacious and comfortable on the inside.
As per the Japanese auto major, its Concept S was a global concept model that was mainly designed for the Chinese market. Thus, if the company details are to be reckoned then the production avatar of the Concept S, which is the Honda Jade will follows the same philosophy as well and will be targeted for the Chinese car market.
As far as the design of the car is concerned, the basic shape and design of the Honda Concept S has been kept intact in the actual physical version of the car. At the front of the car, the new Honda Jade has a smaller grill, which is emphasize by a bold chrome insert. The grill sports a honeycomb mesh that has a glossy black frame that also sports a prominent Honda logo.
The good looking headlamps and the bumper of the car, have been aligned more in line with Honda’s current design concept rather than the Concept S’ futuristic styling. However, the profile of this new vehicle car is bit of a carry forward. Similar to the frontal design of the Honda Jade, the car’s rear too is not a great innovative change and looks more current rather than futuristic. However, the overall styling and looks of the new car is sleek as well as stylish that should impress the buyers.
Honda has not provided details about the new Jade during its debut in the auto show of Shanghai. Nevertheless, the company has announced that the car will be produced by the Guangzhou-Honda JV and will be available for sale in the Chinese car market by September 2013.
Needless to say, it is also not clear whether the new Honda Jade could land up in India as well, and the company has not revealed any information on this aspect. In the mean time, Honda is really banking big with its new Amaze sedan launch in the Indian car market. India seems to have really responded very warmly towards this very potent car. The Honda Amaze diesel, apart from being the first diesel offering to India is also the most fuel efficient car in the Indian car market.
