Honda Cars India last month rolled out 4852 volumes of its Amaze sedan and has contributed 57% of total sales for the company. This month the company has managed to deliver 8488 units. In April 2012, the company managed to sell 7,075 units which is a 20% increase in profit sale output.
The export segment has not generated decent sale outputs with just 182 volumes. The Honda Amaze which has contributed significantly on Indian soil has not hit other countries. The overall sales in May last year was 5000 volumes with an estimate of 1400 volumes thrown out every week during the first seven weeks of unveiling.
The company introduced its classy and professional make of its newest CRV model, and has managed to sell 58 units in April. There have been over whelming demands for the Amaze; the demand is highly supreme that the company has to strategize production minimization methods. The waiting period is pretty long of four months for a selected range of colors and models.
The over pouring demand for the Amaze has had a great set back on the sale of its Brio hatch sibling, and has affected the sale of its professional sedan model of City as well. The excitement and thrill among the public to experience the drive quality in Amaze which is the most fuel efficient and first ever diesel car of Honda, has resulted in poorer sale turnovers of other classy Honda models which is most likely to affect the overall profit sale output of the company.
The Amaze is a sedan version of Brio; Honda India has splashed some key features into the car which makes this a desirable model. The reasonable pricing is one area which is pretty consumer centric priced at Rs 5-7.7 lakhs. The diesel model of this car is known to possess an extraordinary mileage of 25.8 kilometers per liter which is known to be the most fuel efficient. This is another area that would lure herds of buyers into showrooms due to industrial areas being built at arms distances from peak city areas. The Amaze would hence satisfy the needs of young working professionals who have to commute long distances on a daily basis.
The exterior of the car has a pretty decent appeal and can never appear boring. This car would suit young professionals to the hilt. The interiors of the Amaze have striking resemblance to Brio. The wheelbase is 2405mm, and another admirably striking feature is the 400 liter boot volume which is known to be the largest in its class. The only concern with the car is the non foldable interior seats.
Honda cars have always been popular with the public with enormous profit sales generated by the City, CR-V, Brio and so on. The launch of the Amaze has uplifted the overall sales of the company to a whole new level. Let’s hope the company builds or imports more of such cars in the near future. For those keen on purchasing the Honda Amaze, this is a worthy purchase for a enjoyable and stress free drive experience.
