Honda Cars India Limited an eminent brand for premium and luxury cars has recorded a 20% growth with 8,488 volumes in 2013 April compared to 7,075 segments last year same period. The significant increase is contributed by the recently launched stunner, the Amaze sedan. The company has managed to throw out chunks of its other successful models of CRV with 58 units, City sedan with 1,917 units, 1,628 volumes of Brio.

The Amaze was launched in April this year, and has already gathered more than 22,000 bookings which is higher than the booking for the Swift Dzire last year. The Amaze has generated massive bookings that car dealerships have to work harder to register huge numbers. This could imply that the Amaze diesel sedan might become the next best seller launched by the Indian subsidiary of the parent Japanese firm. With its diesel mileage being 25.8 Kmph, anybody would want to experience the unburdened drive quality to commute long distances.

The response from consumers about the drive satisfaction of Amaze has been thrilling, even with the unfavorable economic conditions. Jnaneswer Sen, the senior Vice President in the marketing and sale segment of Honda Cars India Limited said, that the company is confident on the potential of Amaze to throw in impressive profits this fiscal year. The company has developed two established plat factories at Tapukara in Rajasthan and Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh.

Due to minimal production equipments, the company has the privilege to roll out just 4,500 to 5,000 volumes of the Amaze on a monthly basis. This will lead to prolonged waiting periods specially the diesel model. The Amaze is a sedan version of the Brio hatchback and is the first diesel car of Honda to launch in India.

The engine capacity is admirable with 1.5 liter iDTEC diesel engine that can churn impeccable efficiency of 100PS. The powerful engine along with the breathtaking mileage out beats the Amaze diesel with other sedans. The pricings are catered to consumer satisfaction to a large extent, the diesel models are priced between Rs 5.99 to 7.60 lakhs and the petrol variants are priced between Rs 4.99 to 7.50 lakhs. The pricing of the petrol model of Dzire is almost similar at Rs 4.92 to 7.50 lakhs.

The interior fitments in the Amaze have the same patterns of other dynamic Honda, the audio fitment is similar to the Honda, and the steering wheel is vested with audio controls for loaded models. The admirable features to watch out for is the significant boot space of 400 liters which is the largest volume witnessed in any sedan.

The petrol model is equipped with a 1.2 liter iVTEC engine that also churns impressive mileage of 15 to 18 Kmpl. The energy output is splendid at 88PS and 109Nm peak torque. The safety features are designed with basic protective measures in all models with ABS and EBD. The Amaze is indeed a worthy purchase for those interested; the car on the whole has jam packed powerful features with amazing surprise packages beyond words.
