Honda has recalled 18,000 car models with brake problems

Honda has recalled a whooping figure of over 18,000 models in US to cater to critical problem of brakes. Some of the models that have been recalled are over 13,000 models of RSX Acura 2006 model and 2006-2007 sporty makes of S2000.

The company has also announced that the brake equipments were not designed in accordance with required specifications. This could result in reduced braking powers and also stimulate the occurrence of crashes. The company has however stated that it is not familiar with injury or accident incidences. The company has catered to this problem through warranty approvals, consumers will be alerted sometime in July, and irregularities with brakes will be fixed by dealers if there are severe problems.

The RSX model of Acura is a trendy hatch with a two door concept. This car is a replacement of Integra coupe in the entry level segment launched in 2002 to 2006. Acura RSX is appreciated for its exclusive style statement, consumer centric pricing and convenience.
