The launch of Amaze has been a boon for Honda; the company has managed to acquire admirable sales even during the present unfavorable car economy that has haunted most car companies. Honda India aims to release 1.2 lakh cars for the present fiscal.
A top company official stated that the demand for the Amaze model is enormous, and the main goal of the company is to elevate the production and sale output of the car. The company is undergoing extensive quality assurance testing as well. Honda has managed to release 16,000 volumes of Amaze which is a significant figure since it has been just over two months since launch. The huge demand for the car has resulted in extensive waiting periods of four to five months.
Honda also aims to introduce four refreshed models within two years. The company is geared to launch fresh models of multipurpose van, compact SUV, new City and Jazz. The firm is working on a new factory unit at the city of Tapukara in Rajasthan with a whooping initial investment of Rs 2,500 crore.
The launch of Honda’s first ever diesel model has churned heaps of profits to the company. The demand for the car is extremely high that the waiting periods are lengthy. The Amaze is sedan version of Brio; the car was launched to compete with one of Maruti Suzuki’s best sellers, Swift Dzire which has intensified the competition to new levels. Amaze has managed to be on par with Swift Dzire in terms of sales.
Honda is keen on its first exploration into the compact SUV and multipurpose van segment. It would be interesting to explore the drive experience of these models which will release in the near future. The company is confident about its first journey into these segments after the overwhelming success of Amaze. The car is appreciated for its trendy exterior design which is pretty eye catchy. The mileage in the diesel version is known to be the best in its class with an excellent mileage of 28.5 Kmpl. The mileage offered in petrol models are admirable as well at 18kmpl which has resulted in huge customer turnouts in showrooms. The interiors are spacious; the boot volume is massive at 400 liters to fit in heavy luggage which comes in great handy especially when transforming heavy baggage to shift houses.
The car is introduced at competitive pricings of Rs 5 to 7.7 lakhs, and rolled in a range of interesting and vibrant colors of majestic blue metallic, crystal black pearl, urban titanium metallic, carnelian red pearl, alabaster silver metallic, taffeta white. The safety features are world class with EBD, ABS, fog lights, engine immobilizer, central locking and keyless entry system. The most loaded version is fitted with SRS airbags in front which is an excellent safety devise.
The excellent features of Amaze in terms of mileage, safety, price and design is the main reason for the huge success of the model and has turned the fortunes of the company to new lengths.
