Honda kick started the ‘Drive to Discover’ rally with Amaze from Thiruvananthapuram

In the competitive car market of India, the car makers have to put in lot of efforts in establishing good customer to brand relationship as well innovative strategies to survive in the market. Simply marketing for the products through means of advertisements does not work anymore, as the modern consumers need a lot more to get convinced.

Car makers who endeavors to go that extra mile to engage the customers though interactive and entertaining strategies and convince the customers that they are genuinely consumer friendly are the ones who become top position holders. The Japanese luxury car major, Honda is one such company which has emerged as one of the topmost companies of India, and the company ensures that its customers are in constant interaction with it through exciting events. To keep on encouraging its valued customers into choosing its quality cars, Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has announced the beginning of the ‘Drive to Discover’ rally with the Honda Amaze. This is going to be the fourth time that Honda is organizing the ‘Drive to Discover’ car rally.

This year’s rally has commenced from the Honda dealership called Peninsular Honda, located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The Senior Vice-President for Marketing and Sales at Honda Cars India Limited, Jnaneswar Sen was present when this innovative rally commenced. Reportedly Honda aims to promote the key features of the Amaze compact sedan through the ‘Drive to Discover’ rally. Apart from providing the participants with some a good fun, Honda is also reestablishing the reliability and durability factors of the Amaze sedan to them. Honda is also showcasing the technological prowess of the potential i-DTEC engine to the participants.

The ‘Drive to Discover’ with Honda Amaze has about 18 participants. 6 participants are representing each leg of the rally. The participants of the competition are driving the car along the eastern coast of India. The rally will conclude in Kolkata, before which the participants will travel through various popular Indian destinations, such as Kanyakumari, Chennai, Vijayawada, Vizag, Puducherry, Nellore, Puri and Bhubaneswar. This rally will cover a total of about 3000 kilometers.

The Honda officials are very happy about this rally and are expecting the event to draw a lot of attention to benefit the company. Jnaneswar Sen, who flagged off the ‘Drive to Discover’ with Honda Amaze rally revealed the company’s aim behind organizing this event. He said that the company really looks forward to the Drive to Discover rally every year as it has created a niche for itself among the car and travel enthusiasts across India. Honda Amaze represents the best in class aspects when it comes to fuel efficiency, space and performance.

In the recent times, several auto companies are organizing events which are used to promote one of the most successful models. Renault also organized a similar event that involved promoting the popular Duster compact SUV. Industry experts of the auto industry believe that these kinds of events are can play crucial role to promote the brands that do not much insistent marketing campaigns.
