Honda has introduced several new updated hybrid cars that come with great new features with affordable prices or even lower prices. Thus, this Japanese car maker is also trying best to impress the global car consumers with great efficient and affordable hybrid cars like its home grown rival market leader Toyota.
Honda has endowed its Civic Hybrid cars with has several technological upgrades, premium features such as leather trimmings along with two new body color options. The new updated Honda Civic Hybrid cars are offered with a new starting price tag of $33,990 for the flat paint option.
Next in line in the all new Honda Insight, which has also been offered to the car consumers of Australia with a new lowered price range while the quality and efficiency remains the same. The second generation Insight is being offered with a lowered price of $26,990 for the VTi model trim with a flat body paint option, while the VTi-L’s price has been reduced to $30,490 with flat body paint.
The Director at Honda Australia, Mr. Stephen Collins said that the price repositioning of these two brands of hybrid cars from Honda along with updated technology for the Civic Hybrid indicates the company’s commitment to offer its customers with the best quality cars along with superior value for money to cater to all the requirements of the company’s esteemed consumers.
The new 2013 Honda Civic Hybrid has been endowed with several new features such as a satellite navigation system with SUNA live traffic updates, reversing camera with parking guidance, key less Smart Entry, DVD player and push button ignition. The car also boasts of new daytime running lights, vanity mirror illumination and premium leather seating with a grey trim. The Civic Hybrid also comes with two new color options of the Carnelian Red Pearlescent and the White Orchid Pearlescent. The price comes for $575 extra for the metallic and pearlescent body paints.
As far as the Honda Insight hatchback is concerned, the quality car comes fully loaded with great features and good performance along with the delight of the new lower price range. This five door hatchback offers a great and intuitive cabin along with dual-zone dashboard features to the consumers. This car comes with CVT transmission to ensure a smooth and very easy to maneuver driving experience. The Insight also comes included with Creep Aid System to prevent the car from rolling back while starting the car on an inclined land. The hatchback also comes with Honda’s innovative ECON button with ECO Assist system that helps the owner get great fuel efficiency and save on the fuel costs.
Honda is reportedly paying more attention on the hybrid and green cars keeping in line with the world’s growing eco consciousness and to present a better, greener commuting system. Honda is also working full swing to bring in a new Fuel Cell car for the mass market in the year 2015. In the meantime, the company is trying to lower the cost of the Fuel Cell car.
