The launch of Amaze this year has stirred the excitement levels of car buffs, and has generated heaps of profits to Honda. The company is soon emerging with newer surprise packages with the Mobilo, City and Jazz, which is a crossover car. Those who can’t wait to have a glimpse of the new launches can do so at the prestigious auto expo of 2014. The Jazz Crossover will however launch sometime in 2015.
The fresh Jazz model is the 1st in line to undergo production, next is the Brio Multi-purpose Vehicle (MPV) and then city sedan. The 2014 Jazz will hit showrooms post the auto expo. By mid 2014, the Brio MPV will make a grand appearance, and the City will launch by the end of 2013.
The new City model is built on Jazz base, and this car will undergo production at the established factory in Rajasthan. The Brio MPV will be built at the reputed Noida factory, and the Jazz Cross and City will be constructed in Rajasthan.
To cater to wider consumer options, the cars are expected to be released in petrol and diesel engine options. All four diesel engines will be powered with a potent 1.5 liter iDTEC mill that yields remarkable engine outputs of 98bhp as observed in Amaze. The fresh Jazz model is a powerful 1.2 liter petrol power train; the Jazz cross will be fitted with 1.2 or 1.5 liter iVTEC mill. The new Brio based Mobilo MPV is inserted with a 1.5 liter iVTEC engine that churns super efficient peak power values of 116bhp.
The City and Jazz are two key profit players for Honda; these cars have fascinated the luxury car craze demographic with its mind blowing combination of luxury and style. The launch of Brio based Mobilo MPV is interesting, the car has already hit Indonesian showrooms, and those who have followed up on the car, would have been amazed with its classy exteriors. Also to build a MPV from hatch platform is unique and challenging. Ardent Brio fans will be excited with this launch, one question that will arise is whether this car will be a game changer like the Amaze which is also based on the Brio platform.
