Mugen Redefining Honda Civic

The Honda Civic is one of the top-selling compact cars in the world. The car has gone through a number of changes and upgrades since its launch in 1972. Now after four decades with its ninth generation out in the market since 2011, the car is still making progress with further upgrades and modifications. In a recent announcement, the engine tuner and auto parts manufacturing Japanese company, Mugen Motorsports presented the new set of accessories of the present Honda Civic.

The Honda Civic has been known for its elegant designs, and the features provided in their cars.  Initially gaining a reputation for being fuel-efficient, environmental friendly and being reliable, later iterations have been known for its perfection and sportiness. It has been also known for providing high-end features like power locks, air conditioning, leather upholstery, power windows, and satellite-linked navigation. The ninth-generation Honda Civic entered the U.S. automobile market on 20^th April, 2011.

The new parts from Mugen for the aforementioned Honda Civic are meant for sale in the Asian markets. The sale of these parts will be done through the already existing dealership network of Honda Motor Company in Asia. These parts include new alloy wheels that are forged rigidly and are light in weight, body kit and smartly designed ventilated visors. In addition to these parts a sports silencer with superior exhaust efficiency is added to the list of its upcoming lineup.

Now, for all the automobile freaks, the new styling concept for the ninth generation Civic has been named as “Prestigious Sports” and has especially emphasized on the car’s sporty and pleasure driving characteristics. The company offered an aerodynamic body kit with a two-piece front spoiler, a rear bumper insert, a prominent rear wing and a revised side skirts. The rear wing is designed specially, not to interfere the driver’s rear view and thus, is mounted high. The rear spoiler is designed like a diffuser.

They also offered a window vent and a stainless steel sports exhaust system for models are equipped with a 1.8 litre engine as well as with a five speed manual transmission. The Customers can also order a body-color “sports” grille.  The front grille has the decal ‘H’ that stands for Honda. A variety of 17-inch alloy wheels can also be bought. The sports silencer which is exclusively tuned for the ninth generation Civic will enhance the sporty driving feature of the car, apart from contributing to its stunning look. www.Gaadi.com

The styling is expected to arrive soon. A word of caution for the beloved customers, the pricing has not been declared yet.  But, who sees the cost, when an elegant masterpiece stands in your garage.
