There is some interesting news for ardent City fans; the company is on its way to launch the 2014 City in November this year.
Honda has incorporated a whole new surprise package with the new City, this time it is bigger and better than the present City. To add to the excitement the car will be offered with a diesel engine as well, the 2014 City might be a game changer for the company. The company already has an attractive sale graph for the April to September period, with a robust 69% sale increase at 59,617 pieces. The 2014 City will be offered in 8 versions of diesel and petrol models. The car will have impressive engine capacity of 1.5 liters, and will be attached to automatic gearbox. The engine of the diesel City is adopted from Amaze, and this time it will be a more potent one.
The style statement of the car is expected to be similar to Honda’s recently launched Crider sedan. Most of the design cues will be adopted from C concept models and will have the exotic fashion elements usually observed in Honda cars. On the front, there will be artistic chrome decorations on grille; the car will have few sporty elements. On the rear, the car will be garnished with illuminating tail lights.
City is an exceptional luxury brand image built by Honda Cars India, and this is one car that drew millions of luxury car craze customers. Since inception, the City has been a symbol of style and prosperity. This trend was no longer visible when recession became a stronger factor. Customers now opted for diesel models, petrol prices shot to sky rocketing levels, and City did a complete U turn in term of sale output.
