Honda cars are among the most appreciated brands in India, and there is a range of upcoming Honda cars to look forward to like Urban SUV, Mobilio MPV and so on. The company has now announced that it is keen to engineer brand new cars for Indian markets, and it is formulating new methods to re-structure cars, since most of the cars are developed outside.
The cars manufactured from core would be Jazz or Brio, to this Mr. Yoshiyuki Matsumoto, the CEO and President of Honda Motor India said, ‘’we are keen to build cars in the country from the smallest unit, this is contrary to the current developments where models are built in Thailand or Japan, like Amaze and Brio.’’
Honda is of the view that small cars enjoy robust market shares in the country, and at the moment the company is keen to work on new Jazz or Brio series. In order to introduce efficient and desirable vehicles in India, Honda said, we need to analyze the desirability trends in the country and work on effective prices to push sales. Honda is also keen to build a Research and Development (R&D) unit in the country in the near future.
Honda also feels that the MPV and SUV’ segments in India have attracted herds of buyers. The company is all set to launch the Mobilio MPV and Urban SUV; the two products will arrive by 2015.
Mr. Hironori Kanayama the CEO and President of Honda Cars India, to a leading car website on the introduction of Honda Urban SUV, Vezel, said ‘’ we have not yet made a decision on the launch of the car for Indian markets, but was positive on the potential sale outcomes of this car.
The Jazz and Brio are key profit players for Honda, and it would be interesting to view a whole new Brio and Jazz car manufactured in India. The two cars have exceptional style statements, and the interior room is luxuriously spacious. Honda fans in India have some interesting packages to look forward to with the Mobilio MPV and urban SUV.
Mobilio MPV is certainly a new stunner, and sports a magnificent MPV image and is equipped with a potent 1.5 liter four cylinder iVTEC petrol mill that yields 115 bhp. The diesel iDTEC engine will have a 1.5 liter capacity, and the same mill is inserted in Amaze sedan.
The car is built for the mass and seven occupants can tuck in with ease, and the design theme is attention grabbing called ‘’Man Maximum Machine Minimum philosophy.’’ The length of the car is 4.4 meters and to add to the excitement is the cost which is Rs 6.25 lakhs.
The Urban SUV or Vezel is another spectacular launch, and the car displays a high-tech appeal with lines and curves splashed all over. Vezel is inserted with a powerful turbo iDTEC 1.5 liter diesel power train also used in Amaze. Some of the interesting and unique characteristics of the Vezel are it is filled with hybrid engine option and dual clutch automatic gearbox and magic seats.
Ardent Honda fans can indulge in moments of pleasure, first the Mobilio MPV and Honda Vezel, and now there might be a whole new Brio or Jazz.
