Honda stirred the car market when it launched its first diesel car in India. It was the Honda Amaze. The Amaze diesel proved out to be a success for the company. It has a 1.5 Litre i-DTEC diesel engine which churns out a 100 bhp of max power at 3600 rpm and generates a peak torque of 200 Nm at 1750 rpm. Although, it is run by a diesel engine, the engineer at the Honda have done a great job to keep the inside of the Honda Amaze pretty quiet.
The latest car model which Honda has recently unveiled is the new Honda City. It is a new variant of the highly famous car. It is the fourth generation of the Honda City. With its previous variants, Honda kept the customers keep coming into the showrooms looking for the City but with the increasing competition the City was losing its charm. The biggest disadvantage for the car was lack of a diesel engine. When the Honda launched the Amaze diesel, customers began anticipating the diesel variant of the City. And Honda listened to the prayers and the new City is available in the diesel engine too! Apart from the huge change in the engine department, the new Honda City has new designs as well. Honda claims that this design is the next generation design to keep up with the changing taste of the market.
Well, we will get to know the progress charts of the new Honda City in the days to come. Honda is expecting that the new model will be welcomed by the customers. And perhaps it will be because Honda is no joke. They are always serious with what they make.
