Honda Cars India has launched the all new Honda City in Srinagar on 24th of January. The 4th generation model of the iconic City sedan from the Japanese luxury car maker Honda has created a huge wave of interest after its unveiling in India in November, 2013 which was also the car’s world premiere. The all new City has been registering great number of bookings ever since and has become even more popular after its official Indian launch on 7th of this month. Now, that the 2014 City has been also launched in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, the people of the state can also enjoy all the new luxuries that this new sedan comes packed with.
At the time of the 2014 City’s launch in Srinagar, the company commented that the Honda City sedan which was first introduced in the country back in January 1998, has brought happiness to more than 4.3 lakhs satisfied customers across India, and has been the India’s most successful sedan.

While speaking on the launching event of the 2014 City in Srinagar, the Managing Officer of Honda Motor Company & the Representative of Development of Purchasing and Production in Asia as well as Oceania Region, Mr. Yoshiyuki Matsumoto said that the Honda City sedan has been a great performing product and an iconic model for the company with more than 2.2 million customers in over 55 countries.
He added by saying that the 4th generation model of the Honda City has been offered for sale in India and is expected to get a huge response from the Indian car buyers among whom the car has always got a very high objective value. With the all new City now available with its diesel model variant as well in the car market of India, Honda Cars India is now all geared up to considerably expand its operations space in the Indian market. This new launch is definitely of a great importance in this expansion process of Honda, as the City has always enjoyed exceptional response ever since it was first launched in the country.
The all new Honda City has emerged in a more stylish and contemporary avatar. Built on a new platform, the 2014 City has an entirely new styling that looks much more premium and alluring than its previous generation model.
