According to the sources, the new motor in the Honda shall abide by the latest Amaze sedan series, with two engine options –1.5l diesel mill and 1.2l petrol mill. The petrol mill of the variant has the power to generate around 86PS of power and a peak torque of 109Nm and its counterpart, the diesel mill has the ability to generate 100PS of power and a peak torque of 200Nm.
According to reports, the 90PS power generation result of diesel motor will surely work as miracle for the Japanese company, this is majorly don’t to excerpt better fuel mileage from the motor and make it stand as a tough competition amongst its other contemporaries. Speaking about the gearbox, the car is expected to retain the same 5-speed auto gearbox transmission found in the versions of Brio and Amaze.

The car is said to stand in competition to its counterparts, Volkswagen Polo GT, Nissan Micra, Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai i20. Nothing much has been revealed about te pricing structure of the models, however, it is expected that the pricing will be lower this time, as the company expects to make a strong foothold in the Indian car market.
