Honda has been in the news for its new interesting launches like fourth gen Honda City, new Jazz, Honda Vezel Sport Utility Vehicle and Mobilio multipurpose vehicle. The company is in the peak limelight with the launch of fourth gen Honda City, a special launch and transformation from the earlier model filled with unique design technologies like Exciting H Design and Sleek Cross Motion.
If the launch of next-gen City is not exciting enough, there is another stunning launch called Mobilio MPV. Honda has built the car mainly for established Asian markets of Indonesia and India.
An executive of Honda said that, the company is keen to explore new avenues and promote low cost models tailored with optimum comfort and luxury to push auto sales in Indonesia’s rapidly expanding auto market. Mobilio is a seven seat model, and the starting price in Indonesia is about 160 million Rp. The president Director of Honda Prospect Motor, Tomoki Uchida said, ‘’if our team continues to raise the costs of products above 200 million Rp, then it will adversely affect the market share of the company and the figures will remain on a smaller scale.
The MPV market in Indonesia is robust, about 80% of vehicles sold in an MPV make, and Honda is keen to promote its MPV line in Indonesia. Mobilio is reasonably priced for its dimension, and Honda has introduced costly products in Indonesia, the SUV’s, MPV’s, and sedans sold in the country are steep. The auto market in Indonesia is pretty robust and the public are thrilled with a low cost Mobilio MPV, and car enthusiasts are set to take the car on a test drive in Central Java and Yogyakarta.
Honda has not only built the Mobilio in grand style but has also injected advanced technologies like Eco drive mode. The petrol engine used is inspired by Honda Amaze sedan and is a iVTEC 1.5 liter engine and the technology used here is called (CVT) continuous variable transmission. Occupants can be guaranteed of optimum safety with high tech safety features of dual air bags in all variants, electronic brake force distribution and anti lock brake system. All these factors will make Mobilio a world class MPV model.
Honda will launch the Mobilio MPV in June this year, and is in the most awaited launch list. Indian’s will be thrilled with the Mobilio since lavish cars sell like hot cakes in the country. A seven seat model is nothing but luxury and comfort, and is the perfect gift for families to feel waves of comfort and extravagance. The launch of the car will intensify the cut-throat battle that exists in multipurpose vehicle segment, and its strongest contender is Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. Ertiga is a fierce competitor for Mobilio MPV since the car was rated as the best family car of the car. The same can be expected with Mobilio MPV since it is a seven seat model, and the interior room is luxuriously spacious.
Those who are fascinated with Mobilio MPV and can’t wait for the launch will have to wait till June. This is a worthy purchase and costs Rs 6.5 to 9 lakhs.
