Honda has some amazing new launches; the launch of new City has churned public excitement levels to no end. Another exciting new product to look forward to is 2014 Honda Jazz. Sources have stated that the launch date of the car is delayed, and will arrive in 2015. The manufacturing process of the car has commenced in Honda’s established manufacturing unit in Mexico.
The company has invested about $800 million to build its manufacture unit in Celaya city of northern Mexico. Honda’s unit in Mexico is keen to have an employment network base of 3,200 to collaborate with the plant’s capacity to produce 200,000 vehicles on a yearly basis. The company will also introduce a transmission unit in Celaya, and will invest about $470 million into this plant. The employment capacity here is 1,500, and will manufacture (CVT) continuously variable transmission gearboxes.
Car enthusiasts will surely be excited by the launch of 2015 Jazz, and the car was on display at Indian auto expo. Jazz is one of the trendiest hatchbacks in town, but there were not many buyers for the car, because it is expensive and sold in petrol fuel only.
The 2015 Honda Jazz was displayed at 2014 auto expo, and the car is more or less similar to the discontinued Indian spec model. The lack of a diesel car was one of the reasons that the hatch did not do so well in India. Honda has now introduced a diesel version of the car.
The car will run on potent iDTEC 1.5 liter diesel engine and iVTEC 1.2 liter petrol engine both mated to five speed gearbox. The highest power output of diesel engine is 100 PS and with the petrol car it is 90PS. The introduction of a diesel car will work in favor of the company, and a trendy diesel Jazz with decent mileage output is definitely a dream come true package.
As grand as the exteriors will be the interiors, which will be abundantly spacious, and in UK, the car was in the top ten ranking for practicality. The boot capacity is 400 liters, and one amazing feature to take note of is Magic Seats, which will just fold flat with no manual requirement at all, all it takes it a press of a button.
The 2015 Jazz is another stunning surprise just like new Honda City; the company has taken care to fight its defaults, and has introduced a diesel car. The powerful iDTEC and iVTEC diesel and petrol engines are derived from Honda Amaze. The two engines are super efficient and churn enormous power sufficient for long distance drives. Details on price structure for Indian spec car is not yet disclosed, the car will launch sometime in 2015 March.
