Honda has a new premium crossover SUV in the making called 2015 HR-V, and is a superbly good looking model. The attractiveness is highlighted by the dynamic lines and cuts visible all over the car, and defines its sophisticated SUV status. HR-V was displayed at the prestigious 2013 Detroit auto show, and the public were blown away by the mere stunning look of the car.
The platform base of HR-V crossover is derived from Honda Fit, called Jazz in Indian markets. Jazz is a marvellous looking car as well, and a product derived from Jazz has to be a sensational piece. There are few variations between Honda Jazz or Fit and HR-V crossover. The urban SUV concept car is draped with dazzling headlights. The headlight design on HR-V is not as radiating as urban SUV. The architectural minor differences between urban SUV and HR-V are visible on rooflines as well.
Most of HR-V’s architecture is identical to urban SUV, bits and pieces of the car’s images as shown in 2014 New York Motor Show are up on the web. Honda earlier revealed of a new Vezel SUV for Indian markets, sources are yet not sure about the Vezel arriving on Indian shores, and have even decided to imply that HR-V is Vezel for Indian market. Honda did not emphasize on Indian Vezel launch, mainly because of the economic state of the country, where the rupee value dipped over 10% of the dollar value, and the second reason is high input costs. Honda announced that it will introduce a new SUV model for Indian markets, but it has nothing to do with HR-V or Vezel.
There are some who say that HR-V looks identical to Vezel, the similarities are so pronounced that sources have actually used the word ‘clone’ by stating that it is a cosmetic clone of Vezel. The cabin room in Vezel is enormous and sufficient to tuck in five passengers and the biggest surprise of all are foldable Magic Seats, and these are magical indeed, and the movement can be compared to various motions of roller coaster. The seats can be adjusted in different angles as desired by the occupant. Vezel shocked the public in its grand dressing at Tokyo Motor Show held last November.
Details on the mechanical aspects of the car are not very clear, and HR-V is equipped with powerful 1.5 liter CVT automatic four cylinder engine that pumps out 130hp. More details of the car will surface post its appearance at Los Angeles Auto Show scheduled to happen in November.
The HR-V is among the most stylish and elegant cars in town and few images of the car have been uploaded on line, as captured in New York auto show. The compact crossover looks fit and dense, and what defines the stunning style quotient of the car are the cuts and creases visible all over the car. The webpage shows the front, side and rear view of the car and from all angles HR-V looks too fit to be true.
