Honda launches special edition of Amaze Limited Edition

Honda Motor Company had launched its compact sedan Amaze during 2013 and received tremendous response from Indian public due to its features and performance. Inspired by the success of this model Honda launched the City sedan which enjoyed equal popularity due to great mileage, reasonable price and world class features which helped the car maker to increase profits by nearly 83 percent within a single year. The competition is growing in existing markets in India as demand in domestic markets is reviving, therefore Honda is also launching a special edition of Honda Amaze hatchback. The latest special edition model of Honda Amaze is being launched to officially celebrate first anniversary of this model in India.

The new limited edition of Honda Amaze is being sold within India at around Rs. 71,861 more than existing models in both petrol and diesel variants which are sold as VX and S variants. The new Honda Amaze Limited edition petrol variant S and VX are priced between 6 – 8 lakhs and its diesel version is slotted between Rs. 6.65 – 8 lakhs. The original Honda Amaze has sold nearly 60,000 units since launch and has helped Honda meet changing needs of people which is making appropriate changes based on consumer feedback. The new variant has been fitted with dual airbags in front along with additional safety features.

By introduction of Amaze Limited Edition model Honda has expanded its existing range of Amaze models by 2 new variants of one each in petrol and diesel along with existing E, EX, S, SX (available in petrol and diesel), S AT, VX AT with both automatic transmission models. The carmaker has fitted all variable with latest features like ABS, EBD and engine immobilizer since they will be sold within Asia and Africa. The model helped Honda regain public confidence as this brand reinstated it as a low cost brand thereby gaining comfortable position among mass market cars manufacturers. This latest version will help elevate the Honda Amaze as a sporty variant which can meet demands of family vehicle due to spacious interiors and also be a fitting compact car to drive through city traffic.

Honda Amaze Limited Edition diesel engine is powered by 1.5 liter i-DTEC engine which provides great mileage of 25 kmpl and now ranks among top fuel efficient cars in India. Its diesel engine version is equally fuel efficient with 1.2 liter i-VTEC engine producing 84 bhp of power. The exterior façade is slightly modified with spoiler on entire lower section across front, sides, rear and trunk area. The door of this beautiful Honda Amaze now have door visors for protection against strong sunlight ideal for Indian summers. Body colored bumper is same as before with air dam on lower section flanked by tiny fog lamps chrome finish on exhaust pipes. Rear section has large stop lights spread on either side of boot with chrome rim boot along with alloy tyres. The Honda Amaze surpassed market expectations after launch and emerged as a winner due to customer friendly features therefore the new Limited Edition variant also has been fitted with premium upholstery and wood finish on dashboard section.
