Honda plans a different approach to promote its brand via You Tube

Honda plans to use a new medium to promote its brand image, the firm will start a new online music channel on YouTube via Google Inc. Honda will sponsor and showcase its own live shows with many partners along with Live Nation Entertainment. The company has devised a unique method to promote its brand via performances, interviews, music news and online videos. There will be a concert at iHeart Radio theater in Los Angeles said Honda.

The company is channelizing a new approach to promote its brand which will include Sean Diddy Combs’s Revolt studios, Vevo LLC, and Clear Channel Media and Entertainment. Clear Channel will relay performances sponsored by Honda via iHeart Radio Theater.

It is interesting to learn that Honda has used a creative source to promote its brand value via online videos and performances. The aim is to strengthen its brand value; the company has earlier funded festival events and music via You Tube, the biggest distributor of online music videos, a smart platform to enhance loyalty and awareness.

On the usage of YouTube to elevate its brand portfolio, the assistant vice president in marketing and advertising sector of Honda US, Tom Peyton said, ‘’strategizing various mediums and using the conventional advertising media is not a very feasible approach to reach out to young buyers. The company aims to use a multi platform segment to promote its brand, with many partnerships through You Tube.’’

Honda has named its new initiative Honda Stage, and according to Peyton it its content business. Many companies promote their brands via live concerts and performances, Ford an established American auto firm has partnered with American Idol, a Fox network initiative. Honda is positive about its Honda Stage approach, and says that the promotion goes beyond normal shows and performances. The plan is to create a music channel that will play live music from top brands along with online content.

Honda is emphasizing more on emotional content than just add billboards or just a onetime concert organization. The firm is keen to sponsor new videos using its own creativity and build up a brand or performance than tie up with a pre-planned concert or event. It is definitely a different strategy; the goal is to push the brand across to the young demographic. The company is working on a series of models to target young buyers. The latest on launch list is a new Fit model, and a posh and reasonably priced crossover HRV. The company plans to use a many platforms to promote its brand.

The performances will happen at Honda Stage and the venue is iHeartRadio Theater in LA. The event will be promoted by Clear Channel. There will be many exciting concerts to look forward to all over US. There will be Honda Stage event in major cities like Governors Ball in New York and Austin City Limits in Texas. Honda will launch its 13th Civic Tour event. Honda Stage headquarters is located in Revolt Studios Hollywood in LA.

Honda has used an excellent medium to promote its brand via Honda Stage, this way the company can reach out to many more customers. Millions of people watch live shows and the message will hence move to millions. It is a more efficient medium than the conventional digital media, not many will log on to websites, unless they really want to buy a new car.
