Honda is all set for a big launch this month called Mobilio MPV; a new Honda product is exciting beyond words and Mobilio is covered with a new level of luxury inside out. It is a tough process to wait for Mobilio to arrive in showrooms, the excitement has killed a few fanatics who have test driven the car. Let’s go over the feel process of driving Mobilio.
The car looks great in real life to the level of how it looks in pictures; sources have used the term fantastic. The style statement is known to be better than any other product in its segment. The body is well proportioned, the appearance is eye catchy at first sight double the level compared to Brio and Amaze put together.
Length does make a difference and is even more mesmerising on Mobilio, Honda has incorporated splendid design techniques on the car in the form of neat creases and lines. The overall length is a massive 4386mm and the wheelbase measurement is 2652mm. It is a seven seat vehicle and consumers can await pleasurable times with large back doors which make it convenient for people of all ages to easily enter and exit. There are two air vents on dashboard and other on roof. The height of the vehicle is 1603mm higher than Amaze by 100mm.
The cabin room is vast and there is sufficient head space contributed by the smart interior design techniques. Sources say that at no time will your head touch the roof. The driver’s seat is impressively designed, the view is so phenomenal that you don’t only view the road ahead, but also what is below. Sources were in awe of the fitments, every item is strategically positioned, and the front portion has a stunning décor. When you move to the tail gate the thrill factor ripens packed with a couple of reflector units, integrated spoiler and smart lamps. The inner lining is great moulded into arty honeycombed structures and adds tints of vibrancy to the car.
The exteriors look amazing, the insides are simple yet elegant, the layout of the dashboard is the same as Amaze, and so are the seats. The split capacity of the last row is 50/50 and with the second row it is 60/40. The boot volume is not surprisingly big with only 223 litres. The figure can explode when rear seats are folded and can extend to 521 litres. There is ample space to just sit back and enjoy a fun-filled drive. The last row is child friendly and provided unparallel rhythm of enjoyment.
Mobilio is sold with diesel and petrol engines engineered with the advanced Earth Dreams technology also seen in City. The petrol car moves on a robust 1.5 litre i-VTEC four cylinder engine that generates 145Nm and 119PS. The engine is more potent than Amaze and Brio, the noise emission is minimal and movement is smooth. The diesel i-DTEC engine is also quite serene the energy emission capacity is 200Nm and 100PS. The highest speed attained in Mobilio is 140 kmph lower than 160kmph offered by City. The mileage offered by the diesel car is 24.2kmpl and the petrol vehicle gives 17.4kmpl.
