Honda Cars India introduces two new Mobilio variants

The newly launched Mobilio MPV is Honda Cars India’s first venture into the MPV market of the country. The Japanese car major has witnessed massive instant success for the Mobilio MPV which has registered great number of bookings, though not many of the vehicles are yet delivered to their new owners. Thanks to the great promotional activity of Honda India and the several capabilities of the Mobilio, the MPV is expected to continue with its great success in India.

Though the Honda Mobilio was launched in India only a month ago, the vehicle has already got its first update. Honda Cars India has launched two new grades of the Mobilio MPV, called the V(O) and the RS(O) that features the first in segment Audio Video Navigation(AVN) as well as Rear View Parking Camera.

The newly introduced V(O) variant will be placed on top of the existing variants of the Mobilio namely E, S and V variants in both Petrol and Diesel versions of the vehicle. On the other hand, the exclusive and sporty RS (Diesel) variant of the Mobilio MPV will now also have an additional RS (O) variant, which will be packing in the world class and segment first features of AVN and Rear Parking camera. Honda will make the RS and the RS(O) grades of the Mobilio from mid September onwards. Thus, the Honda Mobilio buyers will have additional options to go for in the festive season, and this should boost the vehicle’s demands even further.

The Honda Mobilio RS (O)’s Audio Video Navigation system comes along with a large 15.7 cm Touch Screen pre-loaded with maps, satellite based voice navigation guidance, as well as complete in-car entertainment system with several connectivity abilities including Bluetooth, AUX, USB, i-POD, etc. The AVN system also comes along with an integrated Bluetooth communication function which allows the user to sync their phones with it and implement various on-screen functions such as dialing, answering, history checking, contacts and Bluetooth music play. The built-in navigation system on the Mobilio RS (O) also comes with a keyboard to allow the users to choose their destinations.

The introduction of the two new grades that expanded the Honda Mobilio range which will now be is available in total 10 model trims including the petrol and diesel versions.

The prices of the newly launched Mobilio grades are as follows (all prices Ex-Showroom Delhi):

Mobilio 1.5L V(O) MT Petrol – Rs. 9.46 lakh
Mobilio 1.5L V(O) MT Diesel – Rs. 10.45 lakh
Mobilio RS (O) Diesel – Rs. 11.55 lakh

The new Honda Mobilio is a stylish, sub-compact stylish MPV. The Diesel Mobilio is powered by the acclaimed 1.5 liter i-DTEC diesel motor that generates a max power of 100 PS and a peak torque of 200 Nm. The Mobilio diesel also offers the best in class fuel efficiency of 24.5 kmpl. The Petrol Mobilio is powered by a 1.5 liter i-VTEC petrol mill generating 119 PS of max power and 145 Nm of peak torque; it also offers the best in class mileage of 17.3 kmpl.
