Honda has postponed the launch of its much awaited 2014 Jazz, and it is expected to arrive in early 2015. The company earlier reported of its plan to introduce the car within the current fiscal, and now it is delayed to Q2 2015. It does come as a surprise to learn of Honda’s plan to postpone the launch of Jazz; the main reason is the increased demand for the all new City sedan and Mobilio multi-purpose vehicle.
The recently launched Mobilio and City are instant success wonders; there has been an overload of customer demand for the two cars. The Indian unit of the parent Japanese firm Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has to fund ways to fit the demand with supply, and to accommodate the growing demand it has constructed a second unit in Tapukara Rajasthan.
Honda has not yet confirmed of its aim to postpone the introduction of Jazz, viewing the increased request for Mobilio and Jazz, company officials have analyzed the market condition and feel it would be practical to introduce the Jazz next year. The buying power for Honda cars has increased tremendously, the firm has recently established its 200th dealership unit, and hopes to enhance it to 300 by 2016 March, and the expansion vision is concentrated on Tier III and Tier II regions in towns and cities.
The forthcoming Jazz will sit between Brio and Amaze, Honda will use its potent 1.5 liter diesel engine formula on the car, also used in City and Amaze, and the petrol engine will be the same as Amaze and Brio. Jazz is Honda’s fashionable car that is desirable beyond words, it a plush looking hatchback, it however come with an unbearable price, which forced the company to stall production.
The arrival of a new Jazz is just exhilarating beyond words, and it is coming in early 2015 in a grand package. It will have climate control unit, electrically adjustable rear view mirrors, rear and front power windows; audio fitted steering controls and power steering.
