The all new City is the highest profit contributor in 2014 December

The period of 2014 December turned out to be highly profitable for Honda Cars India, the firm recorded massive 163% gains. It is a massive outcome amidst overbearing challenges primarily contributed by the weakened macro economy that has resulted in wavering fuel and commodity prices. The turbulent economy has taken a toll on effective profit outflow of many other esteemed firms, and some have registered growths in 2014 December period, but the turnover is not as explosive as Honda Cars India.

During the month the company sold 14,428 units against only 5,493 units rolled out in the previous year. The highest profit contributor is the all new City and it alone generated an exploding 6012 units and the second highest seller is Amaze with 5176 units. There is a marked difference between the sale outcomes of the two models with 836 units and one can now measure the profit yielding impact of 2014 City.
