We all thrive for a fun-filled holiday season, and what better medium to use then a luxury car, and nothing can be more amazing than Amaze. Honda launched the car in early periods of 2013, it is a trendy sub compact sedan and an instant blockbuster hit. The prime selling features of the car are the world class diesel 25.8kmpl engine, abundantly spacious interiors and ground-breaking i-DTEC diesel engine technology. The petrol model is pretty fuel-efficient as well and gives 18kmpl.
Now how about a ride to the Rann of Kutch in Amaze? Honda has introduced a splendid two day drive to Rann of Kutch. It is a part of the thrilling Drive to Discover 2015 event, and the goal is to introduce the new Amaze packed with more features. Participants who explored the adventure spoke of their events.
A moment into the scenic beauty of Kutch is something many of us would dream of, it is situated in Gujarat. There were about a twelve automobile journalists who participated in test drive programmes. A person, who ventured on the drive, was recommended to have non-veg food, which is rather a rarity in Gujarat, and this is the point where all the new surprise starts.
Exploring the Amaze drive was a breeze, and the noise output level from the engine was lower than one could desire. Honda has said that the 2015 Amaze will lunch with lower noise, vibration and harshness levels and the goal here is to render a more pleasurable and incredibly low noise emission atmosphere. Amaze has many selling points, but the concern with the earlier model is the noise, vibration and harshness levels were not very desirable.
Besides lower the noise, vibration and harshness levels, Honda has added another Amaze variant called (VX O). It is the most loaded car and packed with feature richness, the 15.7cm touchscreen infotainment system is just amazing and has aux, USB, iPod, Bluetooth, DVD or CD connectivity. The price of the petrol VX (O) MT car is Rs 7.32 lakhs and the VX (O) MT diesel model costs Rs 8.20 lakhs.
The journey in Amaze scattered along the pristine and well-kept streets of Gujarat, and participants were fascinated by the mustard fields, windmills and salt piles. The new Amaze has new satellite navigation system, and using it, consumers drove their way into Bhuj, and it was a heck of an adventure. Participants drove at top speeds along with minimal noise emission levels, and the distance covered was a vast 400 kilometres from Ahmadabad to Bhuj, with barely any room for comfort.
Gujarat has many interesting tourist spots and one the most sought after destination is Dhordo Tent City and the drive into the region is organized by Gujarat Tourism board. The place has a white desert region, and it is packed during the Rann Utsav festival, there are huge tents, and also luxury five star hotels. It is a cultural hub with loads of music and dance and a number of cultural festivals are celebrated and there are tons of shopping areas as well.
How about a night in the tent in the middle of a white desert, it sounds mysterious and mystical. Participants were in awe of the full moon, and to summarize it all the journey was nothing but picture perfect.
