Honda Jazz is a luxurious small car launched by Honda in India. While i10 was launched in the same hatchback segment by Hyundai, after Santro did well in the market. So let us understand the features of the cars more through a discussion.

Honda Jazz is a stylish and sporty looking hatchback. The sharp lines of the car come with central bonnet ridge. The front chrome grille of the car makes it look like that of Honda CR-V. The headlights are coloured as silver and are matt finished. Its windscreen is steeply raked and its glass area has been ellipsoidal shaped. The door handles are body coloured and the alloy wheels gives the car a classy look. At the rear, the tail lamps have got new design. The top rear portion of the car has antennae.

Hyundai i10 has nice and clear headlamps and are stretched till the rear of the front of the car. It posses chrome grille on which the chrome logo of the Hyundai is placed. The front has fog lamps which are rectangular in shape. The bumper, door handles and the OVRMs all are in body colour. The front is stylish but the rear of the car is not at all attractive. The small tyres of the car fail to enhance its look. The front has a rear antenna on the top.

The interior of Honda Jazz is attractive. Its dashboard comes in dual tone beige colour and is capable of with advanced instrument panel. Honda Jazz has very spacious interiors and the headspace allows even a 6ft tall person to accommodate easily. The car’s, instrument cluster is amber coloured and consists of stereoscopic dials with fuel consumption indicator. The rear seats are placed a bit higher than the front seats. The car has a lot of compartments for storage purpose. It has three spoke steering wheels on which the audio controls are mounted. Honda jazz has safety features also like dual airbags at the front, ABS, EBD etc.

The interior of i10 is dual toned. It has a two tone dashboard; the three spoke steering wheel has audio controls mounted on it along with a Bluetooth push button. The dash meter has coloured black background, which has a digital fuel meter and an up shift down indicator. The front seats are not as much comfortable as it should be so that one can have the luxurious drive. There are many spaces for storage. The space is great but the leg space is bit more than it is required.
Engine of Hyundai-i10
This premium hatchback, Honda Jazz, is equipped with 1.2L, 1198cc, four cylinder powerful petrol engine with 5 speed manual gearbox. The engine generates a power of 90Ps @ 6200rpm and a maximum torque of 110nm @ 4800rpm. Hyundai i10 comes with 1.1L, 1086 cc, IRDE petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 66.7 Ps @ 5500rpm and a maximum torque of 10.1kgm @ 2500 rpm.
Verdict
Honda Jazz is much more stylish than i10 in overall terms. Also Honda Jazz is a better option in terms of space than i10.
