Mahindra & Mahindra is having a great time of success, and now it has two great nea cars, namely the Mahindra Verito CS and the Mahindra Reva E2O with impending launch. The Mahindra Verito CS is really close to its launch date and thus is testing rigorously.
The camouflaged test mule of the car has been spotted recently in Ambattur near Chennai. And this time the interior of the car is better revealed than the last times. As expected earlier there isn’t much of a difference in the car’s interior and that will actually help in pricing the car competitively. The upholstery dual tone black and beige color scheme is also the same.
As for the exterior looks, the tail lamps of the car are mounted on its C-pillar and seemed pretty much like the extension of the roof rail of the car, while its license plate is placed on the boot lid. According to the reports, the rear windshield also seems to be fixed and only the boot lid is can be opened in the style of a conventional sedan.
The car spotted is a high end variant as it sports the high end interior trims and alloy wheels. The front fascia of Verito CS looks alike its full-sized sedan version. However the car is expected to have some subtle design elements in its bumper and grill to give it an individual look.
The Verito compact avatar is expected to feature only the 1.5 litre K9K diesel engine which churns out 65 bhp of power. This Renault engine can be found in many Nissan and Renault cars in the country and is well-known for its drivability. Mahindra doesn’t have much plans to introduce the sub 4 metre car’s petrol variant and that is in keeping with the poor demand for the petrol cars in the country. According to the company, it is would probably launch its Verito CS by the end of March, 2012.
