The Japanese car major has been enjoying outstanding amount of success in the Indian car market ever since it launched its first diesel offering in India, the Amaze compact sedan in April this year. Now, the auto major has gone ahead creating another wave, as it unveiled the all new City in India on 25th November, which was also the world premier for the car.
The all new Honda City sedan is going to hit the Indian market in the beginning of 2014. As the 2014 City has already commenced Honda’s plan of launching several new cars in India, the Indian car buyers will get to have hands on more new flashy Honda cars soon.

All new Honda City’s new diesel Avatar
Honda took its own sweet time to actually join the diesel bandwagon. However, with the stellar success of the Amaze compact sedan, Honda have got the confidence to churn out more diesel offerings in India in order to experience same sort of success in future as well. As a result, the all new Honda City is coming along with its diesel counterpart to boost the sales figures. The 2014 Honda City’s diesel model will be powered by the same mill that sits under the hood of the Amaze. However, the mill has been tweaked to offer more power to run the larger City sedan efficiently. Expect the same highest fuel efficiency in the nation with the new City as well.

The all new Honda City in both the fuel options of petrol and diesel variants are already open for booking. Bookings actually started prior to the car’s unofficial unveiling with Honda dealers all across India registering bookings for an initial amount of Rs. 50,000.

The all new City comes with even more stunning design language, and is also slightly bigger. However the cabin is almost the same with some changes in the centre console. It is now equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and a touchscreen stereo interface.
Pocket pinch for the all new City’s petrol and diesel versions
The new City’s diesel model is expected to be tagged at starting price of Rs 8.5 lakhs while the petrol version will be priced at Rs 7.5 lakhs.
