The Honda CR-V is a very popular compact premium SUV from the stable of the Japanese car major. It has become a general norm for all the next generation car models to grow in size and this is going to be the case with the next generation Honda CR-V as well.
Honda Motor has been working on the next generation CR-V and it is obviously expected to be better and bigger than ever. The new images of the all new Honda CR-V have immerged on the internet and going by these pictures it seems that Honda has basically taken the CR-V model and fixed a huge, long door between the vehicle’s B- and C-pillars and has also stretched the SUV’s wheelbase by at least several more inches. The emergence of these pictures have also pointed out that the all new Honda CR-V SUV will certainly be offered for sale in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations, when the model actually launches in the market. The larger new CR-V will thus not only offer Honda the edge over CR-V’s market rivals, all of which are essentially 2-row only utility vehicles, but will also help creating a proper separation of class between the CR-V, the new entry level CUV and the compact HR-V.
Going by the heavy camouflage of the next generation model of the Honda CR-V compact premium SUV, it is also being thought that the Japanese car major has not only made the Honda CR-V much bigger, but has also created a true all new vehicle out of the SUV. The heavy veils are the indication of some serious upgrade to the exterior styling of the CR-V. The all new model of the SUV is expected to get an extensive overhaul on both the outside as well as inside when style is concerned. However, all the new changes are also expected without changing the basic silhouette of the SUV.
As far as the exterior design is concerned, it is very clear that the all new Honda CR-V SUV will get an absolutely new front façade which will be highly stylized as well as very aggressive looking. The images show that the Japanese auto maker has included some heavy auxiliary lights onto the front fenders of the SUV, as the full front fascia of the upcoming model of the CR-V has been heavily veiled by camouflages. The images also show that the rear end of the SUV gets two prominent exhaust tips, which is pretty strange for a CR-V.
However, all the thoughts about smashing all new Honda CR-V model are still mostly based on speculations, as the vehicle is still in its early development stages and nothing definitive can be said as yet. The images are also pointing to the fact that the next generation CR-V is still in its budding stage, so a lot of which can be ascertained in the images can be changed at a later date, when the production version of the SUV is ready. It is likely to debut sometime in 2017.
