The Honda Amaze will launch today, and has a range of cut-throat competitors such as Swift Dzire, Chevrolet Sail and so on. The Amaze will now compete with the Ford Classic. In terms of mileage, the Ford Classic releases 30 kilometers per litre in the diesel model and 18.3 kilometers in the petrol version. The Amaze diesel has a mileage of 27.8 kilometers per litre and there is a tough decision to make on whether to choose the Ford Classic or the Amaze sedan.
In terms of pricing, the Ford Classic ranges from Rs 5.6-8 lakhs in the domestic passenger car segment and the Amaze is priced between Rs 5.5-7.5lakhs. Sources feel that the Amaze would be a better consumer friendly car than the Ford Classic.
