Honda first in line to grab the iOS app

Honda is keen to fit this system in its latest Civic model, scheduled to launch soon in US. iOS functions marvelously, and converts an integrated car touchscreen app into a bigger iPhone Screen, filled with beneficial and recreational apps like inbox, contacts book, music library, search, navigation and voice command access that provides access to Apples smart concierge service, called Siri.

Based on a report by ABI research publication, that examined the futuristic advancements of in-car connectivity, forecasts said by 2018, around 50% of new vehicles will have the iOS app, and the reason for the popularity of this devise is to fulfill the desires of customers who desire superior smartphone functions than just the regular apps.

Car software technology has gone a long way, the reason being the fast paced life, and swift product movement. Consumers prefer superior software functions in luxury brands as well, garnished with state-of-the art infotainment devises. According to Gareth Owen, the Principal Analyst at the reputed ABI Research firm, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), who develop low end car models, also depend on world class infotainment systems, centered on smartphone applications.
